"Forcing someone into a relationship" / falling for one's own act / sweet on the outside, dark within
When they first met, Yan Qiao was a poor university heartthrob. Qin Yahan was an aloof, haughty heiress.
Someone had splashed coffee all over Yan Qiao. He stood there with his eyes lowered, like an unyielding sword. Qin Yahan caught sight of him from the corner of her eye and, for no particular reason, felt like breaking his pride.
Qin Yahan walked over, a business card pinched between her fingers. "Come with me? Leave this place."
Yan Qiao stared at her. Just as she was losing interest and about to turn away, he grabbed her hand and pulled the card from her fingers.
"What do you need me to do?" he asked hoarsely.
Qin Yahan silently savored the helplessness and humiliation on his face. "Be there whenever I call."
"As for what, exactly..."
She narrowed her eyes and looked him up and down, her gaze full of meaning. "Are you even eighteen yet?"
Yan Qiao's handsome face instantly paled, and he shifted aside. Qin Yahan's wicked smile grew wider.
And so five years passed in this undefined relationship.
His name rose to fame, while she used ruthless methods to secure her position at the helm of the family business.
But they spent less and less time together, and the distance between them grew.
It seemed he was nothing but a toy for her amusement.
He staged publicity stunts with others and acted alongside them, but she didn't care.
That was until one day, someone congratulated him on being free. She was getting engaged.
Yan Qiao nearly crushed his knuckles. She had ground his pride into dust, then simply walked away?
He didn't want to be free. He wanted to break her wings and lock her away.
So he made all the preparations and abducted her from her engagement party. He bound her with his tie, but she only laughed and ran a fingertip over his chin. "My little puppy has finally grown up."
