I Don't □□

[Pretends to be cheerful but is starved for love, current school bully Lu Tianjiao x straightforward, healing, controlling former school bully Ji Xiao, two top students]

Before Ji Xiao pinned him against the wall, Lu Tianjiao had no idea good students came in this variety.

He made a show of holding up a beer bottle as if he were going to smash it, but the “good little boy” from all the rumors, Ji Xiao, hit him even faster.

Ji Xiao smiled innocently as he slapped Lu Tianjiao in the face with a test paper. “I hate to say it, but when I was helping someone else corner a guy, you were still ‘Lu Tianjiao, who just got the highest score in the grade again.’”

Lu Tianjiao: “...To clarify, I only did that once.”

No big deal. They’d fought, so now they were brothers. Ji Xiao did seem to be better than him, and Lu Tianjiao knew when to yield. He didn’t mind calling him “big brother.”

Besides, he wasn’t exactly a traditional good student.

Other top students competed to see who got the highest score. They competed to see who could control their scores most precisely.

Other top students spent evening study in the classroom working through test papers. They spent it on the sports field drinking each other under the table.

Other top students didn’t date. They... didn’t date either.

Lu Tianjiao: “I’m studying. No dating before we’re eighteen.”

Ji Xiao: :)

From then on, Ji Xiao’s uncomplicated seventeen years came with one new worry: how to date his “best friend.”

“Lu Tianjiao, dating at eighteen doesn’t count as dating too young.”

Theme: I like the you who makes me a better person.
