Just How Many Faces Does She Have?

[Abandoned halfway through. Please don't read it, I beg you 🙈]

01.

Xia Li, a recent graduate of P University's business school, has a secret.

She's the lead singer of a band and often performs at bars, sometimes singing live shows too.

No one could connect Elena, wearing heavy makeup onstage and singing rock with all her heart, with Rachel, who sat quietly in her business school classes.

Until she smashed a man's head open at a bar, only to discover after starting her new job that he was her direct supervisor!

What could she do? She was desperate too!

All she could do was hide her secret identity and keep her head down for as long as possible.

02.

The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to Zhong Yuye was getting beaten up by a crazy woman at a bar and sent to the hospital after she mistook him for a pervert! He still had a scar on his forehead from the five stitches!

He would never go to another live show again!

Then he realized his little secretary Rachel looked a lot like that crazy woman.

To test her, Zhong Yuye took time out of his busy schedule to organize a team-building trip to karaoke! He picked a rock song and specifically ordered his little secretary to sing it.

Looking at his secretary's face turn deathly pale all at once,

Zhong Yuye thought, “Got you.”

03.

Since becoming Zhong Yuye's secretary, Xia Li's greatest joy each day was to send her direct supervisor warm regards from every possible angle (the kind that involved cursing his ancestors for eighteen generations).

Watching her act like a madwoman, an intern in the same department couldn't help asking worriedly, “Be careful. If you can't forget someone, they'll come back to you! Isn't this the classic start of a bickering couple story where the domineering CEO falls for me?”

Xia Li stared expressionlessly at the intern on her team, a fifty-meter broadsword raised in her hand.

She made the most spectacularly doomed declaration of her life.

“Even if I jumped off the 34th floor and died, or got hit by a car when I walked out the door, I, Xia Li, would never have any feelings for that stupid bastard!”

Years later, looking at her direct supervisor asleep beside her, Xia Li could only admit silently: “I take it all back!”

Both leads are each other's first and only partners. One-on-one.

Venture capital tycoon x genius composer. Sweet romance, groveling chase to win her back, happy ending.

The heroine will never give up her dreams for love. She keeps striving to become a better version of herself.

Theme: The tragic love story of a miserable wage slave who falls for her boss.
