[Detective Conan] Berry Cafe

A cafe with an anime-inspired theme, bringing together original characters and characters from fanworks.

The waiters are Kinomoto Toya, Tsukishiro Yukito, and Natsume Takashi. The honorary manager is Nyanko-sensei.

Mr. Hozuki and Hiiragiya Eriol will bring in some strange reincarnated little animals to make the cafe more memorable to its customers.

Blue-eyed Hiro the cat; Matsu the curly-haired mutt, a mix of Shiba Inu and Doberman; Hagi the Border Collie, who knows just how to charm the customers; the boxer and Papillon couple who always appear together; the elusive Zero cat with a gemstone necklace and Shuu cat in a black knit cap; Touji, a strong, healthy stray black shorthair with a feisty streak; Geto, a black fox with a strange forelock; Rika, one of the only two little female cats, who loves pranks, has a bit of a sadistic streak, and gets jealous easily; Oda, a gentle red-orange Maine Coon with kittens who gets along well with Hiro...

Besides these little animals that people often come looking for, there's the too-clever-for-his-own-good crow Hiroki, Seiji the ruddy cuckoo who plays piano for tips, and Akemi the blue cat who always thinks of others.

"Rei Furuya, how many times do I have to tell you that stealing cats and dogs is robbery! It's a crime!"

"FBI, don't take advantage of the fact that magic has my back and trade intelligence in my cafe! If you're not leaving Japan, at least get out of Ikebukuro!"

"It's been a while, Conan. I still recommend that you go to the rival shop on the next street with your guardians and classmates."

"Megumi, you came today after all. Touji waited by the door all day, hoping you'd show up."

"Gojo Satoru, if you fight with my cats again, I'll have Tsukishiro throw you into a dimensional rift!"

"Um, Okkotsu, people shouldn't... at least, they really shouldn't..."

"Dazai Osamu, you're the worst! Stop ruining my cafe's reputation! I really will call the police!"

A few warnings: The original characters are listed below. The setting is a cafe connected to multiple parallel worlds.

However, all the following characters come from the heavily modified Detective Conan fanwork universe used in this story (including the fake-wine version of Gin).

1. Nekomiyashiki Meimei: She's in the same universe as everyone else. If you'd be so kind, feel free to use her as your character.

2. Vishnyak: A Russian FIS agent, but not an undercover operative. He's trying to persuade Gin, the KGB agent left over from the Soviet Union (his self-invented real name here is Moroz), to come home. Feel free to use him as your character.

3. Chiyoda Sakura: Works for a Japanese government agency that secretly manages supernatural affairs. She was the first to notice the timeline's confusion, and is currently hunting down Rei Furuya on her superior's orders because he betrayed his country and failed as an undercover agent (since he's an important character in the original, his characterization has a major impact on the red-and-black conflict). Feel free to use her as your character.

4. Asakawa Tsubaki: In the original timeline, she's an idol-obsessed high school girl who stays outside the main plot and has no connection to the protagonists. She's a genuine fan of idols like Manaka Lala, Hoshimiya Ichigo, and Idol Princess. She's good friends with Ikeumi Riyoko, and lived a peaceful, stable, happy life. Ran-chan and Kiri-chan are their respective pets.

In the timeline connected to her, there are two Shinichi Kudos, and they are childhood friends. After her early death, one of them becomes Conan Edogawa. The sides are reversed in the original red-and-black conflict, while the slice-of-life characters remain unchanged, and the Kuroba family is still neutral.

If you haven't been scared off by this point, I'd be honored if you used them as your characters.

Ikeumi Riyoko: A natural-born outsider with a very slow reaction time, but she's very close to Asakawa Tsubaki.

Please note:

Possible dream pairings: Former spy Vishnyak x Gin; Monitor Chiyoda Sakura x Rei Furuya; Brainy Asakawa Tsubaki x Shinichi Kudo (Looking at it, there's actually no romantic pairing unless you imagine one, but I'll give a warning anyway.)

There are multiple Rei Furuyas, all OOC to varying degrees. They're the result of fanworks taking things too far, so I'm going to take things too far with the lovely readers of my story too.

Gin is a KGB agent undercover.

Some characters are depicted as cats, dogs, or animals.

This story contains many contradictory viewpoints. If you're underage, please read with your politics textbook in hand.
