Qi Xu sleepily cracked her eyes open, turned over, and pulled the covers over her head again.

When she woke up again, it was the salty, wild sea breeze that roused her. She saw a cliff right beside her and scrambled away in terror.

The bad news: She really had been pulled into the Island Survival Game, and she had started on a barren reef island with scarce supplies.

The good news: Qi Xu was an all-around player with boundless energy and a wealth of outdoor knowledge.

While other players were fighting tooth and nail on the shore over a handful of chests, Qi Xu was chopping trees and gathering leaves on the reef mountain to build a basic shelter.

When a torrential downpour put other players at risk of hypothermia and sent them scrambling to build shelters, Qi Xu was already sucking on a strand of seaweed as she dove into the nearby waters, one hand holding a chest and the other gripping a mutated octopus.

Excitedly, Qi Xu fought monsters, mined resources, and transplanted seaweed, wishing she could stretch each minute into an hour. Annoyed by the System notifications, she turned them off manually, and missed a storm of activity in the world channel as a result.
