An assassin arrives in a peaceful town, and the target turns out to be... an ordinary high school student?
With the delivery date a month away, the bored assassin begins keeping an eye on her target.
Xu Chenyu: "Study. I have to study. I'll give my life for studying. As long as studying doesn't kill me, I'll keep studying until it does."
Qu Ying: "Calm down. It's just studying. Even I, an assassin, don't act like I'm about to die. You high schoolers are in a worse mental state than I am."
Xu Chenyu tilts her head. "Is your mental health really that bad?"
Qu Ying: "I'm an assassin. How healthy do you expect me to be?"
An assassin and a girl share a life together.
"It's so hot, so hot. Why is it still this hot in autumn?"
Xu Chenyu presses an ice cube against her face. Qu Ying shivers and rolls her eyes. "Are you a high school girl or a dog?"
The assassin despises the world, but the world doesn't despise her. It simply doesn't know she exists, leaving her to walk deeper and deeper into that dark world.
The assassin is drawn to the girl's ordinary life and decides to go straight.
But just as the assassin decides to spare the girl's life, the girl does something like this to her...
