The Inn in the Mortal World

Peach Blossom Town.

Peach Blossom Town got its name from the peach blossoms that blanket the town when they bloom.

The Red Dust Inn got its name because people hope to leave the mortal world behind, yet find it hard to truly let go.

The Red Dust Inn was the biggest inn in Peach Blossom Town.

Its owner, Dong Peilan, had arrived in town only three years earlier. Peach Blossom Town had fewer than three thousand permanent residents, and business was poorly run, so even the biggest inn barely made enough to get by.

Fortunately, the town was well connected and saw plenty of travelers. In particular, the blooming season drew many tourists, finally making the inn's revenue look respectable.

Life went on peacefully, until the day Dong Peilan brought home a young woman covered in blood...

No matter how much Dong Peilan might have imagined, she could never have guessed that this stubborn young woman would not only suddenly enter her sight, but force her way into her heart, taking root and sprouting there.

Bai Zhi never expected that one fleeting glimpse would make her choose to stay at that inn forever.

Half a life spent in life's ups and downs; a cup of tea and a drink to see out the rest of it.

The unforgettable sight of youth remains hard to forget; two hearts in love will share a lifetime.

Theme: Spring returns, flowers bloom, and all things come back to life. It's that wonderful time of year again.
