Blurb 2:

"There's No Way I Could Like Him"

The slightly longer title is: "I, Wang Ye, Would Rather Die Than Like Zhuge Qing"

And the revised title is: "Retracted: It's Not Like, It's Love"

In his previous life, Wang Ye was a talented young singer. Then he was reborn seven years in the past, in someone else's body.

The boy his family had just adopted turns out to be Zhuge Qing, his nemesis in his previous life.

Zhuge Qing had been terribly arrogant in their previous life. Wang Ye didn't like him and wanted nothing to do with him.

But wherever Wang Ye went, people kept shipping him with Zhuge Qing, shrieking, "Ahhh, I ship it!" They even gave their CP a name, "Ye Qing," and fans would celebrate them in droves every holiday.

Wang Ye looked disgusted. "I'll say this right now: I'd rather die than like him!"

Who could've guessed that Wang Ye wasn't the only one reborn? Zhuge Qing had been reborn, too.

Zhuge Qing figured that since he hadn't managed to win Wang Ye over in his previous life, he couldn't let Wang Ye hate him this time.

After much thought, he decided to tuck away his fox tail and pretend in front of Wang Ye.

He pretended to be bad at school, deliberately failing his exams. "...Lao Wang, you're a top student. Can you tutor me tonight?"

He pretended to be obedient, lowering his eyes. "...Lao Wang, I'll do whatever you say."

He pretended to be timid, hiding under the covers during a thunderstorm. "...I'm scared of thunder."

He pretended to be kind, narrowing his eyes. "...Huh? You like Wang Ye? Are you looking to die?"

But the longer he kept up the act, the more Wang Ye sensed something was off. Eventually, he caught sight of Zhuge Qing's fox tail.

Wang Ye was delighted. "Ha! I knew you were faking it, you little punk."
