Question: What should I do after marking my rival, the fake heiress, who pretends to be a beta but is actually an omega?

Answer: I don't understand all those labels, but obviously I have to take responsibility for her.

*

When Mo Li was twelve, she was brought back to the Mo family and acknowledged as their own, transforming overnight into a young heiress.

But she'd grown up in the slums, and in every way she was inferior to Mo Wang, the Mo family's adopted daughter, who'd been raised in comfort. Even though Mo Li was the true heiress and Mo Wang was the fake, Mo Wang could still boss her around as her older sister.

Luckily, fortune was on her side.

On the day Mo Wang differentiated as a beta, she was kicked out of the Mo family, household registration and all.

Mo Li secretly rejoiced, thinking she could finally live in peace.

But Mo Wang refused to give up. She kept opposing Mo Li at every turn, and even dreamed of taking her shares!

One day, while trying to investigate a business matter, Mo Li followed Mo Wang, only for them to somehow end up in bed together.

The next morning, Mo Li looked at the person beside her, her eyes going wide with shock.

She had marked Mo Wang!

But how had Mo Wang turned into an omega?!

-

They'd slept together, and she'd regretted it.

No matter what, as a responsible alpha, Mo Li had to take responsibility for what happened.

She went shopping and traveling with Mo Wang whenever she had time.

Mo Wang would occasionally treat her with tender affection, cook for her, and ask to cuddle.

At last, Mo Li fell for her.

When she suddenly lifted her head from that sweet haze, she realized she'd been thoroughly played.

Twenty years of toiling away, and in one night she was back to square one.

She had no money or house left, and was right back where she'd started.

Mo Wang admired her wretched state, dressed in a graceful long gown, her red lips like a poisonous apple.

She bent down, lifted Mo Li's chin, and kissed her forehead. "From now on, I'm your sugar mama."

To make ends meet, Mo Li really did become a kept woman.

But in the end, she couldn't bear to lose her freedom.

She seized her chance to fake her death, gathered her people, and stormed back into the Mo Corporation.

When they met again, Mo Wang's gaze was calm and unruffled. She merely smiled, seeming entirely willing to submit.

After a moment's hesitation, Mo Li knelt firmly on one knee and kissed her fingertips.

Even if I lead an army certain to win, I would gladly let you defeat me with your own hands.

This time, I am the one placing the reins in your palm.

Little extra scene:

One morning after a night of passion, Mo Li breathed in the sweet scent beside her pillow and slowly remembered the cat supply store she'd visited. She suddenly realized what had made her lose control all those years ago.

Whose omega has pheromones that smell like catnip?!

Note: 1. The two female leads are not related by blood.

2. They developed feelings after Mo Wang had been kicked out of the Mo family. They were no longer on the same household registration, and their adoptive relationship had also been terminated. When they signed the agreement ending that relationship, they announced it publicly.

In other words, as far as the people around them knew, they were no longer legally related, and they were not biologically related either.
