Lover's Addiction

Lin Mi has a pretty face, a voluptuous figure, and more flirtatious prospects than she can count.

As a result, she's notorious at college. The girls glare at her, while the guys keep their distance in public, then scramble behind the scenes to wag their tails at her like dogs.

Lin Mi arranges to meet the student council president in the woods to break up with him.

The favored child of heaven has never faced much adversity. After a long, bitter argument, he finally leaves.

For as long as they argued, Xia Jue lay in a tree and listened.

Lin Mi spots Xia Jue and recognizes him.

A new student in the oil painting program at the Academy of Fine Arts, he'd become the talk of the campus as soon as he arrived, thanks to his roguishly handsome, cocky face.

Xia Jue is laid-back and carefree, with an amber-eyed gaze full of irreverence.

"Tired of well-behaved guys? Why not give me a try?"

Lin Mi stares at him for a while, then smiles faintly. "Sure."

Lin Mi only wants to have some fun with Xia Jue. When she gets bored, she decisively breaks up with him.

-

When they meet again after a long separation, Xia Jue acts like he wants nothing to do with anyone.

Lin Mi doesn't understand who he's giving that sour look to.

He wasn't like this when he used to lower his voice and call her "Sis" by her ear.

Lin Mi lifts her toe and brushes it against his thigh beneath the table, where no one can see.

Xia Jue grabs her ankle and squeezes hard, nearly crushing her bones, carrying years of resentment in his grip.

He grits his teeth. "You want to toy with me again?"

Lin Mi's lips curve slightly. "Can I?"

Xia Jue glares at her viciously, then suddenly leans down and kisses her scarlet lips, silencing that infuriating smile.

"You can."

"Toy with me for the rest of your life."
