It Rained Carrots on the World

Xu Xingyi x Jiang Xianyu

Xia Muqing x Su Zui

A collection of bonus stories for Daylight, divided into two parts. The first half is the promised Xu-Jiang what-if story, and the second half is about the newlyweds Xia and Su.

The title was inspired by: "Your arrival was like a rain of carrots falling in a rabbit's world."

(Quoted from the internet)

Here's the serious, yet not-so-serious blurb:

[Xu Xingyi x Jiang Xianyu]

Editor-in-chief x illustrator

The day Jiang Xianyu met Xu Xingyi, the airport was packed and noisy. Jiang's panic attack struck, and she huddled in a corner, on the verge of breaking down, when a pair of arms wrapped tightly around her.

"It's okay. I'll get you out of here. Everything will be fine."

Later, Xu Xingyi slowly awoke from a daze. Jiang Xianyu was curled up in her arms. Before Xu could say a word, Jiang's eyes turned red.

"I'm sorry. Don't be mad. I... I didn't mean to. I just wanted you to hold me."

"Please don't ignore me. Don't be mad at me, okay?"

[I should write a little more, but I'm out of ideas.]

[Basically, it's a lovely story that starts out sweet and romantic, tries to go dark with confinement and forced smut/violence in the middle, but ends up sweet and healing after all.]

*In this what-if story, Xiao Yu is a slightly yandere, unhinged little white rabbit with touch starvation and panic disorder. She's severely socially anxious and the type who doesn't want to inconvenience anyone.

*Xu Xingyi is still full of saucy remarks, and loves flirting.

*I'm not making it long. It'll probably end in about 10,000 words. The Xia Muqing and Su Qian bonus story will also be around 10,000 words. Xia and Su's story isn't a what-if.
