After Joining a Dating Show with the Class Monitor Who Embodies Virtue

[Fake Femme Fatale X Double-Standard Model Student]

Gu Anran is a minor actress barely known to anyone.

The only time she ever trended online was when paparazzi photographed her returning to a hotel with a famous idol.

Nothing had happened between them at all,

but his management dumped all the blame on her to protect his image.

His fans hurled abuse at her, painting her as a femme fatale who toyed with men.

Still, she was lucky in a way: she was chosen for a popular dating reality show.

The director's one demand was simple: keep up the femme fatale act.

So Gu Anran began her daily routine of keeping a few men on the hook.

She got along well with the other male contestants, but Xu Jiaheng, the model student who embodied the rules of proper conduct for men, was hard to win over.

But gradually...

Interviewer: Lately, you've been making a lot of spicy dishes. Why?

Xu Jiaheng: Gu Anran asked me to. I can eat spicy food, so I made them.

Interviewer: You don't seem to mind the female contestants touching you as much these days. Is that right?

Xu Jiaheng: I only don't mind Gu Anran doing it.

Interviewer: At first, you said you couldn't accept dating an older woman, but now...

Xu Jiaheng: If it's Gu Anran, I can.

Interviewer: And...

Xu Jiaheng: Gu Anran.

Interviewer: Does it bother you that Gu Anran gets along with all the male contestants?

Xu Jiaheng: She's just pretending.

And so both the femme fatale and model student personas fell apart.

Viewers: So you're the true-love couple after all (leans back in shock).

Theme: Love goes both ways
