■Blurb:
After Zhong Ci was framed and fired from her company, she hid in a park to cry. There, she met a strange man who offered her a tissue without being asked.
At first, Zhong Ci mistook the strikingly handsome man for a celebrity filming a reality show and kept her guard up. Then his eyes suddenly turned bloodred, and he collapsed into her arms, more terrifying than a vampire gone berserk.
Zhong Ci saved Yi Xiu.
Afterward, Yi Xiu made deliberate arrangements for Zhong Ci to become his personal assistant.
“Mr. Yi, you don't have mysophobia, so why do you always wear gloves when you go out?”
“To find the person destined for me. Anyone but her gets an electric shock when they touch my hand.”
“I don't believe you. Take off your gloves and let me try.”
Yi Xiu took off his gloves and clasped her fingers tightly. Five minutes passed, and nothing happened.
Zhong Ci thought: ...Keep making things up. Like I'd believe you!
Later, Yi Xiu fell ill and was confined to bed at home. Zhong Ci went to look after him, and the two of them bantered and chatted.
From his sickbed, Yi Xiu mentioned that “the first step for a demon to cultivate a human form is to grow a pair of legs.” Then he shamelessly praised his own beautiful legs. Zhong Ci didn't believe him and demanded that he show her proof.
At that, Yi Xiu's face turned scarlet. He secretly pulled the covers tight, then, a moment later, said bashfully, “Sorry, I just finished treatment, and I haven't put anything on yet...”
As they grew closer, Zhong Ci began to fall for Yi Xiu, but she discovered that he had many strange habits.
For example, he ate bizarre foods, none of them ingredients commonly eaten by humans. He also knew everything under the sun, possessing a store of knowledge no normal human could possibly have. In a trendy, sophisticated phrase, he was a “cultural dinosaur.”
Even more horrifying, Zhong Ci saw that his shadow had a monstrous shape.
“Y-You... are you actually not human?”
The mystery remained unsolved when Yi Xiu suddenly became gravely ill and could no longer get out of bed. Zhong Ci hurried to the hospital room, where she saw an old man with silver hair trailing to the floor. He conjured an ancient marriage contract out of thin air. It turned out that she and Yi Xiu had been married in a previous life.
“Do you want to save him?”
“I do.”
“Let your blood fall on the marriage contract, then walk straight into that full-length mirror. Go on. Return to your previous life and save your beloved.”
P.S.:
1) A restrained, devoted deity who has desperately searched for his wife x A goddess who specializes in dealing with restrained men and has suffered through a disastrous reincarnation
2) Slow transmigration. The male and female leads will experience several different worlds together, tracing back from this life to their previous life. There are only two lifetimes.
3) Urban supernatural mysteries, with no cultivation scenes.
4) Blurb inspired on 2023-02-11, revised on 2023-04-14.
5) Important note: This story is a slow transmigration between two worlds, exploring past and present lives. The present life takes place in an alternate modern setting (80% of the story), and the past life in an alternate Victorian-era England (20%). If you only read the last few chapters, you really won't be able to make sense of the plot, so start from the beginning. If it isn't for you, just stop reading early, so you don't waste your money!

There have been two absurd experiences in my life:
One, [I failed my college entrance exams, but got accepted into a strange, obscure university with deep pockets. It charged no tuition and guaranteed its graduates jobs.]
On the first day of school, I received a stack of new textbooks in class. I read the titles and fell into thought. Why weren't they books on ideological and moral education, college English, or modern history? Instead, there was An Introduction to Basic Spells, Magical Potions and Elixirs, Techniques for Entering and Leaving Dreams...
Two, [After graduation, the school really did assign me a job. The pay was generous, and a huge sum had been deposited into my account before I even reported for duty. The only problem was, my workplace turned out to be... a men's prison.]
After counting the long string of digits in my account, I hesitantly asked, “Professor, is there any other option? I don't really want to work as a prison guard, especially in a men's prison.”
My old-fashioned professor, with his gentlemanly air, took off his glasses. “My child, you've misunderstood. The academy isn't asking you to become a prison guard. It's asking you to use what you've learned over the past four years to successfully infiltrate a men's prison and become an outstanding undercover inmate.”
Me: ...
After a long moment of shock, I asked the professor, “Does an outstanding inmate mean someone who gets their sentence reduced in the shortest time?”
The professor patted the top of my head. “As the only AA+ graduate in your class, your task is to find an inmate with the codename Zang and help him escape successfully.”
Me: ???
Still in a daze, I came to my senses and asked the professor again, “What's this inmate's real name, or his prisoner ID? Does the academy have detailed information about him? I'd like to do my homework in advance.”
The professor shook his head. “Zang is a mystery. The only two things we know about him are:
1) He's the founder of our university and can speak Rococo.
2) He has a distinctive tattoo on his lower back, but we don't know what it looks like.”
So I deliberately caused trouble and managed to get myself committed to Cold Mountain Men's Correctional Camp under false pretenses.
The different colors of the triangles on the inmates' uniforms indicated their identities.
The patch on my sleeve was a red inverted triangle, meaning “antisocial.”
But I never imagined that before I could find Zang, something would happen to me. For some unknown reason, I began sharing emotions and dreams with a slender, refined, yet frail and handsome heretic in the prison!
Not long afterward, my sleeve patch changed to overlapping pink and red inverted triangles, meaning
“antisocial homosexual.”
Theme: True love is eternal
Thanks for the limited fee ~ very beautiful The relationship between the characters in srds seems a bit confusing and I can't quite understand it.
Ahhhhhhh, Yi Wang, I'm really angry to death. I'm so angry that I can't stand it. Fortunately, I have cultivated Ci Ci. What if I hadn't cultivated Ci Ci? I'm so angry.
It turns out that the girl has to bear all the mistakes
That girl must be very tired
Does the heroine regard the male lead as a younger brother, or does she like him but feel that she is not good enough now and have to wait until he is good to be together? But it seems like she just feels friendship and affection towards the second male lead. I always feel that the relationship with the second male lead is handled very awkwardly, which is weird.
Damn, catch the bug. In the previous article, Mrs. Johnson gave Ci Ci 20 gold, but when she talked to Xiu later, it became 100 gold.
Congratulations on the completion. I look forward to your next book.
Come on, Dad, I've been busy at home lately, so I haven't caught up on the updates in time, and I feel like I can't keep up with the rhythm. Will it be finished this week? The new article is also really killing me. It's my favorite type. I'm ready to read the new article.
I'm here. I haven't been here recently because I have something to do at home. I look forward to your wonderful ending.
It's been 3 days! Still nothing!
