[DC] The Green Lantern of Her Homeland

When you think about it, I, Fenton, am the most tragic person in the whole story!

My sister, Ian, loves rock climbing. She disappeared when a landslide hit, and they'd already dug her grave before she lit up green from head to toe and told me she'd become some kind of cosmic cop.

My friend Esme got struck by lightning while flying through a storm. She was in a coma for six months, and the first thing she did after waking up was hit my sister. Then she got herself a uniform and started running all over town.

In the end, the two of them got together.

Guess who doesn't have superpowers? Me.

Guess who wasn't invited? Me.

Guess who still has to work? Me.

Only I, Fenton, have diligently gone from firefighter to special forces officer, beating up demons when I can and applying for my sister's benefits when I can't.

This is a story about my sister and her close friend (emphasis) Esme.

[Don't be fooled by the blurb or genre!! This is a literary-style novel, and it might be a little difficult to read! It has a high barrier to entry, so there's no pressure to keep going.]
