The Manga Heroine Creates a Tragic Beauty

The Empire Players is an anthology comic. The heroine transmigrates into different settings and falls in love with male leads of all kinds of backgrounds.

After it became a huge hit, several of its male leads also became household names.

Some say the Patriarch is as beautiful as a flower. Others say the Tyrant's love is the stuff of legends, or that the Demon Lord and his beloved are locked in a love-hate relationship...

But the two inhuman leads who used the comic's settings to ensnare each other still have plenty of complaints about the author's choices.

The male lead, a sentient information stream, complained, "Why am I the one who gets stabbed in this story again? Aren't we evenly matched every time? This is false advertising!"

Lu Yi: "I don't like this setup."

The male lead instantly grew wary and edged closer without showing it. "What don't you like about it? He's a male lead made just for you. How can you not like him?"

Lu Yi glanced at him. "Like you said, I don't like you getting stabbed. Is that not allowed?"

"You're right."

The male lead smiled and made a planet explode into fireworks across the universe, celebrating the birth of "love" between two monsters with the annihilation of countless lives.

Meanwhile, on Earth:

Though the comic's author is infamous for making characters suffer, readers of The Empire are convinced:

[The world can be destroyed, but the male and female leads are definitely true love!]

The leads' former subordinates: "..."

"...Aaaaaah! You can eat whatever you like, but don't say whatever you like! Those two really can destroy the world!"

A few things to know before reading:

1. The modern-day setting is both the main plot and the hidden plot. The comic is the visible plot, just there to let the leads show off their love!

2. Both leads are a little unhinged, so please stay calm.

3. Please don't blame the author for the characters' actions. I beg you, I'm already having a hard time. These two are impossible to deal with!

4. The leads' true forms are information entities that can split into countless information streams, with distinctive information traits in how they interact with people and things.

5. I haven't figured it out yet. I'll talk about it later!

Theme: Love can turn incomprehension into understanding and make self-centered people more tolerant, so they can treat others with kindness.
