New novel coming soon: Digging Out Cangcheng at the Heart of a Desolate Star [Honkai: Star Rail]. The blurb is up, and I’m working on a backlog. Please add it to your reading list!
One-line pitch: Worried his brothers are working too hard at farming, the younger brother blows through his retirement savings at the Divine General’s office to tip a streamer!
Novel blurb↓
The snarky narrator complains that the detective is acting like a dog in the farmer’s house.
The detective replies, “I’m a wolf!”
The narrator keeps complaining that sneaking into an unmarried woman’s bedroom isn’t the sort of thing a hard-boiled detective would do.
The detective replies, “…I’m a wolf!!”
The narrator gives him a sharp look.
“Mr. XXX, if you keep this up, you’ll soon have no choice but to take responsibility.”
…The detective says despairingly, “I told you I’m a wolf!!! And how did I become a suspect in your story? My name isn’t ‘XXX’!”
The big wolf she took in sneaks into his owner’s bedroom, while a fluffy gray wolf guards the farmer’s fields and front gate.
And the great detective of Dual-Phase Paradise is that magical wolf!
He’s not Ye Zhiwei’s dog!!
Some time later.
“How does a wolf bark?”
“Woof woof?”
Three farmers have arrived in Pelican Town.
The first farmer finds an injured wolf.
The second farmer finds a forest spirit cat.
The third farmer brings back a mermaid from the sea, radiant as the sun.

[Pelican Town Resident Guide]
1. Please get up as usual at 6:00 a.m. Pierre’s General Store opens, the Community Center opens, and everything is as it should be. JojaMart has been handing out membership cards again. Morris says the second phase of the “Town Revitalization Plan” has begun. Please do not sign. Signing means mortgaging your farmland, share of the mines, and the Community Center deed to the Pier Point headquarters. The farmers all know about this but don’t take it seriously, except Ye Zhiwei, who wants to bury Morris in the mines with her sword every time she sees him.
2. Three unidentified outsiders recently arrived in town and were taken in by Ye Zhiwei, Tang Hao, and Yuyun, respectively. They have behaved well so far and pose no threat to the townsfolk. Please do not ask where they came from. They can’t explain it themselves. The Community Center has registered them, and Pierre’s General Store has received no complaints about them.
3. Do not go outside after 2:00 a.m. Not because it’s dangerous, but because you’ll see a gray wolf being chased all over town by a whole forest of walking vines. Please don’t help. The farmer was too happy during the day, and her subconscious is “entertaining” him. The wolf is from Dual-Phase Paradise. He used to be a detective and is now pretending he can’t talk. Please respect his privacy. He still doesn’t know those vines are her.
4. About the mermaid Tang Hao found by the sea: After the glowing jellyfish appeared along the coast in summer, Tang Hao went digging for clay and found him in the shallows. During the day, he’s called the Flame Reaver. He stands by the fields, staring at the wheat without saying a word. At night, he becomes the savior: white-haired, handsome when he smiles, and running around town with the wolf and the cat. Please don’t bother him when he’s staring into space during the day. He remembers Aedes Elysiae, but doesn’t want to talk about it.
5. The orange cat at the flower shop gives off electric arcs. It rolled out of a capsule that fell from the sky one summer and was found in the forest by Yuyun. He used to serve as the Divine General of Xianzhou Luofu and now works full-time catching crows. Please understand if he occasionally fries an automatic sprinkler. The General is used to solving problems with thunderclouds.
6. The town museum (Gunther’s, south of the Blacksmith’s, opens at 8:00 a.m.) is the first place you should visit after 2:00 a.m. The mines connect to an unlocked old storeroom beneath the museum. When the wolf, mermaid, and cat go in to “take a walk,” breaking pottery can give you one of three things: meaningless notes saying things like “Today the earth chased the wolf for another three miles”; fragments of the truth marked “Failure Record No. 33,550,336”; or elixirs and little pieces of equipment casually slipped in by the Aeon of Elation’s consciousness, such as “False Fire Mint Candy (restores energy),” “Reincarnation Sickness Charm (prevents dizziness after a reset),” and “Human Form Reset Elixir.” Gunther collects them during the day and sorts them in the collection room under a label reading “Donor Unknown.”
7. Ye Zhiwei mines every day, returning dusty but happy with her sword over her shoulder. Tang Hao handles the farming, deciding what to plant this year, which trees to grow, and when to water them. She takes care of all the household chores. Yuyun only fishes and does little else. Some of her catch goes to the mermaid as food, and the rest is sold. Please don’t nag Yuyun to work. She’s tired after a whole day of fishing.
8. Spring will always come again. The wheat will grow tall. The mines won’t be finished today, either. The fish will keep biting.
Pelican Town Mayor’s Office (in office for the 33,550,337th consecutive term)
There has been more trash around town lately. Please dispose of it in the recycling bins. This trash is not part of Stardew Valley’s geological system, and its source is unknown.
Every time Yuyun comes back from fishing, she puts the trash she pulls out of the water into the recycler.
Please don’t ask why blue electric arcs sometimes come out of the recycler. She already has a cat!
New novel coming soon: Digging Out Cangcheng at the Heart of a Desolate Star [Honkai: Star Rail]. The blurb is up, and I’m working on a backlog. Please add it to your reading list!
One-line pitch: Why is the younger brother blowing through his retirement savings at the Divine General’s office?
Blurb:
[Desolate-star survival essentials: farming, mining, and digging out Cangcheng.
The renowned Forge Master and Dragon Lord is streaming with all sincerity. Don’t pass it up!]
Iconic moment: The Divine General angrily blows a year’s worth of Cloud Knights’ military budget, and the Diviner sternly protests that this sets a bad example.
Iconic moment: A Vidyadhara elder curses the streamer in the chat for his lack of decorum and for sullying the name of Imbibitor Lunae, then secretly blows through his own savings.
The peaceful farming routine turns into a world war the moment the livestream leaderboard is announced.
The Vidyadhara elder goes livid after his colleagues betray him. The Divine General just smiles in silence, sending support to both older brothers. When General Zhuyuan hears what’s going on, he enters the fray with a huge donation, angrily sending ten Thunderous Meatballs to the other streamer.
General Zhuyuan is very unhappy with the donation total behind his disciple’s name on the livestream rankings.
“A blacksmith can be short of anything but money. Send another ten meatballs!”
A spark sets the tinder ablaze. The sun hasn’t even risen over Cangcheng, but things are already in turmoil over on Luofu.
Vidyadhara Elder VS General Zhuyuan VS Divine General
This triangle is stable enough to put the System at ease.
The two streamers who started the battle over on the desolate star have no idea what’s happening.
AAA Big Hammer: “Achoo!”
AAA Rain Thief: “Can game characters catch colds?”
He rummages through his System inventory and pulls out a huge golden meatball.
“Want some medicine, Dalang?”
AAA Big Hammer’s face turns green in the meatball’s golden light.
“That cat looks more and more like that kid next door. Even the way he watches the fun with his whiskers raised is exactly the same… Wait!”
AAA Big Hammer shouts, “The medicine you gave me isn’t for a buff, is it? This thing raises your luck!”
“Uh… yeah. I thought you could take it and then check the pond to see if you can dig up an SSR.”
AAA Rain Thief says honestly, “I heard offering a sacrifice before pulling gives you a bonus.”
AAA Big Hammer: “…”
He decides to throw this dragon into the pond and “sacrifice” him!!
Theme: Saving each other is humanity’s everlasting romance.
Hiss, although the boss (person) has a very graceful figure, to be honest, if you put it next to a docile big wolf, I think the big wolf is more attractive, and it is so furry (hoarse)——
If you can scratch your head, touch your ears, smooth your hair, flick your tail, and bury your balls in your belly, then it doesn't matter whether the human form is beautiful or not (touch your chin)
It is said, it is said that the legendary rice that detectives often eat tastes very bad but is more nutritious. It can exist for a long time because it is the only thing that the poor people of Erxiang Paradise can afford. After all, everyone who has used PDD knows its mechanism. As for Stardew Valley... It has grades, magic, and is full of nutrition no matter what. It is most suitable for poor detectives who are malnourished all year round and don't have enough to eat.
To sum up the recipes in this article, I can only say that the author's wife must have cooked delicious food, otherwise she wouldn't be so good at writing about food (I stuck my head into my wife's face through the Internet and mobile phone)
on the plate)
1. Cucumber and egg sandwich
Specific method: Slice the toast and cut off the four hard yellow edges. Add a little oil to the pan and add eggs. Cook over medium heat. Stir-fry. Add the fresh cucumber slices just picked from the garden today, add the ham slices and add the secret sauce. I can provide two methods for the honey sauce here. One is honey mustard sauce. Recipe: 2 spoons of mayonnaise, 1 spoon of yellow mustard, 1 spoon of honey, a few drops of lemon juice; the second spicy salad dressing recipe: 3 spoons of mayonnaise, 1 spoon of hot sauce, half a spoon of honey, a little minced garlic. The former is suitable for light flavors and the latter is suitable for heavy flavors. Of course, if you want to challenge the difficulty, you can also make your own bread and balanced sauces, but that stuff is difficult. After all, not all of us have the good skills of the heroine (that tone)
2. Ball Lettuce Salad
Specific method: cut the head lettuce, mash the hard-boiled eggs, cut the small tomatoes, and then stir thoroughly, dangdangdang, the salad is ready!
There are also two methods provided here: the first is a lettuce salad with oil and vinegar sauce (lighter taste). Ingredients: lettuce slices, cherry tomato cubes, cucumber slices, and purple onion shreds. Sauce: 2 spoons of olive oil, 1 spoon of black vinegar, half a spoon of honey, half a spoon of mustard, half a spoon or a spoon of salt and black pepper, then stir together! Ingredients for the second flavor of lettuce salad (a stronger flavor): lettuce cubes, crumbled bacon, and hard-boiled eggs. Sauce: 3 spoons of mayonnaise, a little minced garlic, 1 tsp lemon juice, half a spoon of mustard, grated cheese, black pepper. Stir together at the end!
Remember to taste the above and adjust the specific taste yourself. Also, people who love vegetables can strongly recommend salads. The original taste is very delicious!
3. Butter-fried pomfret (I'm already drooling just writing this name. Although the heroine hasn't done it yet, she just wrote how the restaurant makes it, but this description is really delicious)
The specific method is to fry it until it melts in your mouth with a light milky aroma, and then add a few drops of lemon juice to remove the fishy smell. Thumbs up.
There are still two methods provided here. The first is to remove the internal organs and gills of the pomfret, and then use kitchen paper to absorb the water to prevent it from dancing after entering the oil pan - this refers to people dancing, not fish. Then lightly apply a layer of starch or flour so that it won't stick to the pan. Don't ask me how I know it. Look at my eyes. My friend, you don't want to eat Huba fish either, right? Or Snakehead fish that is black on both sides. Heat butter or salad oil in a pan. The butter will have a floral and fruity aroma. If you don't like it, just use salad oil. But soybean oil is not recommended. The soybean oil tastes too strong and is only suitable for fried eggplant boxes. Heat it up and fry the fish slowly over medium-low heat for about three to five minutes. When the fish can be easily tossed, turn it over. When both sides are golden, turn it over medium heat and then turn it over. The fish skin will be crispy and delicious! Just sprinkle salt and lemon juice on it and it's ready!
Let me recommend the second spicy pomfret recipe, braised pomfret.
First, fry until both sides are golden brown, then heat the pan with oil and add dry red pepper, garlic, green onion, two spoons of light soy sauce, one spoon of dark soy sauce, one spoon of cooking wine, one spoon of sugar, and a little vinegar, then add a bowl of water to boil, put the fish on medium-low heat for ten minutes, turn it over and pour the juice, and it is ready to serve!
Ps: This is the summary 1.0. I hope you will write more delicious articles. I really like farming articles, wolf-lutting routines, and the immortal bushi. Please update more. I love you wife every day! [Empty bowl]

Summary of this article Recipe 2.0
The dishes this time include meatloaf sandwich, shrimp salad, and pan-fried potato chips!
1. Meatloaf Sandwich
The main method is not described in this article, but I have done it many times, so I can come up with two methods. The essence of this is the meat pie. The meat pie can be a meat pie made of minced meat or a whole piece of tenderloin. It can't be a cicada lean meat pie, right (funny expression). The main reason is that it is too expensive for livestock to eat. So let's start.
The first approach:
The required materials, minced pork and beef, can be determined according to the feel of the hand (the ratio of 3:7 is best, it cannot be all beef) Onion: chop half, an appropriate amount of eggs, an appropriate amount of light soy sauce, an appropriate amount of cooking wine, an appropriate amount of salt and black pepper, an appropriate amount of oyster sauce, lettuce slices, tomato slices, cheese slices, pickle slices, add salad dressing or other favorite sauces, if you want to make your own sauce, see the previous issue.
Put the minced meat, onions, eggs, light soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, salt, and black pepper together and stir clockwise until it becomes sticky. Form the meatballs with your hands, put the oil into a pan and flatten it. Fry for three minutes over medium heat and turn over. Wait for one side to set before flipping. Poke it with chopsticks and it's done if no blood comes out. If you are making cheese patties, when it is almost cooked, put the cheese slices on top, cover the pan, turn off the heat and simmer for three minutes.
Second approach:
The required materials are: pork tenderloin, use a hammer to break up the tendons, marinate overnight in advance, appropriate amount of eggs, appropriate amount of starch, appropriate amount of bread crumbs. The marinade uses light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oil, salt, and white pepper, still in appropriate amounts. If you don't like white pepper, you can add chili powder or black pepper. Finally, cooking oil is used to lock in water.
Cut the tenderloin into even slices. Some butchers can provide you with this step. Go home and buy a meat hammer that will give you about five to ten points. Then adjust the sauce. In this process, you can add eggs, dark soy sauce, and salt, but you cannot add bread crumbs and starch! After adding all the ingredients, knead the meatloaf first to infuse the flavor into it, then seal it and leave it overnight. The next day, heat oil, wrap the meatloaf in a layer of starch and then a layer of bread crumbs, and fry! The oil should be over 120 degrees, and it will become more complex and crispy after cooling! The frying time is five minutes each time. The specific time depends on the thickness of the meatloaf, you can try it.
2. Shrimp Salad
Required materials: fresh shrimp or shrimp,
Lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, onions (chop them in advance and soak them in water otherwise they will be spicy if eaten raw unless they are Xinjiang varieties), salad dressing, please see recipe 1.0, Shrimp marinade, salt, starch, white pepper, cooking wine or lime juice.
Peel the shells of fresh shrimps and marinate them in the refrigerator for about half an hour. Coat them in starchy oil and fry them over low heat. Cut the tomatoes in half, shred the onions, slice the cucumbers, and tear the lettuce into pieces. Mix them together and it's ready!
3. Pan-fried potato slices
This time I will introduce a quick cooking method first, and I will talk about other methods next time.
First prepare the potatoes and starch, cut the potatoes into finger-thick slices, put the pot under boiling water and cook for about three to five minutes. At this time, make sure that the potato slices are not stuck together, then take them out and dry them with kitchen paper, stick a layer of starch on them, pour a little oil in the pan, put the potato slices in a single layer without overlapping. Fry for 2-3 minutes until the bottom side is golden brown, flip and fry for another 2-3 minutes. You can season with a little salt, black pepper, and chili powder, depending on your preference. Potato pie means that potatoes are delicious!
Ps: Actually there is another rice dumpling that I haven't written yet. There are many ways to make rice dumplings to share, but I'll just do this this time. After all, Tudou only shared one method. See you next time, looking forward to 3.0!
The teacher's writing is very good. I still keep JJ just to read the teacher's writing every day [Purple Heart]
