[Detective Conan] Saving the Washed-Up Heroine, Ran Mouri

[The main reason I turned off the comments is that lately I personally haven't wanted to see people evaluating me. I mentioned it in the comments on Chapter 19.]

[Updates are whenever I feel like it. Without a comment section, I think I'll enjoy writing more.]

Ran Mouri recently encountered a hot-character System. The System told her that she's actually the has-been heroine of a popular series, so irrelevant that she might not even show her face in the main storyline. If she stays washed-up, she'll end up as a housewife.

Who wants to be a housewife?! Ran Mouri jolted awake on her deathbed and hurriedly bound herself to the System to change her fate.

First, she needs to escape her role in the manga as a screaming prop. Easy enough: a murderer? The Black Organization? Her karate prodigy self will take them all down.

Next, she needs to ride the coattails of some hot characters. The Police Academy Five? Akemi Miyano? She'll turn back time and save them all.

Finally, occasionally hyping up a CP is also a good way to stay popular. But when she looks at the little guy who nearly turned her into a housewife, the culprit behind it all, she wonders if they should just break up.

A few notes:

1. I won't break up ShinRan. The author is more or less a fan of everyone on the good guys' side.

2. I'll save the Police Academy Five because I want to write about them.

3. Ran Mouri will be heavily involved in the main storyline. The idea is that I also want to give characters like Ai a boost. Even though they're hot characters, they're still sadly reduced to plot devices.
