An anonymous confession wall is supposed to be a place where students confess their feelings for one another. But today, the confession wall at Mianchuan No. 1 High School is abuzz over a major campus event.
"Someone wrote this in the snow downstairs today: 'Ye Yu, what's this about Sheng Mingda liking you?' Does anyone know?"
Tomorrow is the second mock exam for the seniors, but nobody seems to care at all.
"My partner's in the advanced class. I heard Ye Wang and this person are desk mates. Maybe they like each other."
"I've got an inside scoop. Sheng Mingda got into a university overseas last year, but came back to repeat the year specifically for Ye Wang."
Someone worked up the courage to ask Sheng Mingda about it. After hearing what people had been saying on the confession wall, Sheng Mingda posted all their comments to her social media profile and, in a very streetwise manner, told them not to get cocky. She and Ye Yu were sworn enemies, and Ye Yu, that dog, should stop barking everywhere.
The other person involved, Ye Liang, heard about it and joined the confession wall overnight, posting just one line: "Don't be a coward, dog. Keep barking."

In short, it's something like: rich, beautiful repeat student x poor top student.
A few warnings:
1. The heroine repeats the year because she once liked someone else. It only takes a few months for her to see through the jerk's facade.
2. The heroine won't get into Tsinghua after repeating the year, but she'll still work hard. Her final college entrance exam score will be enough to get into a Project 211 university.
3. The hero isn't superhuman. He won't be running a multinational company at eighteen. At eighteen, he's just the seafood prince of the local market.
This is an ultra-sweet story. Super, super sweet.
