Stuck with a Clingy, Obsessive Guy

1. Her father cheated, her mother died, and the older sister she had relied on since childhood secretly stole the household registration booklet and married a divorced man with a child.

Looking at the child, who was only a few years younger than herself, Wang Yizhi felt for the first time that she wanted to beat someone to death.

Being a stepmother wasn't easy. Watching her sister spend every day in tears, Wang Yizhi finally couldn't help trying to bring her and this stepson closer.

Then she got into college, and from then on she was free as a bird. Wang Yizhi completely forgot everything connected to the Lin family.

But she never expected that Lin Zhuo, who had always been so well-behaved, would lock her in a room and call her name with an entranced look in his eyes.

Wang Yizhi sighed as she looked at the man holding her tightly. She didn't understand.

She was the one trapped here, so why was Lin Zhuo crying with bloodshot eyes, like a puppy that had been abandoned?

2. When Lin Zhuo first met Wang Yizhi, his father had just brought home his new wife. The girl in a school uniform stood behind his stepmother, smiling just the right amount. "Hello, I'm Wang Yizhi."

Unlike his timid, cowardly stepmother, the younger Wang Yizhi was bold and rebellious, out of place in the decaying, filthy Lin family. She was like a waterbird from the countryside, impossible for anyone to keep captive.

It took Lin Zhuo just one summer to accept Wang Yizhi, who was only seven years older than him. Then it took him six years to fall in love with her.

What he hadn't expected was that, when they met again, Wang Yizhi would treat him like a stranger.

All the care she'd once shown him, all the things they'd shared, had only been to help her sister live better in the Lin family.

Unable to accept the truth, Lin Zhuo looked at the woman who was now so cold toward him. With his beautiful face streaked with tears, he asked in a choked voice, "Wang Yizhi, did you ever like me at all?"
