Monster Lover

In the year 3658, the world underwent a dramatic transformation.

The red sun hanging over the edge of the city spilled boiling lava, and endless octopus tentacles stretched out from the underground pipes.

Countless people mutated in strange ways, becoming pollutants.

In his previous life, Lin Yu was a holy son in a magical world, best at purifying people trapped in suffering.

In this life, Lin Yu was just an ordinary wage earner, and he had lost his job because of the world's turmoil.

With no other choice, Lin Yu decided to return to his old line of work.

Under Lin Yu's purification, a pollutant that grew four eyes and loved spying through peepholes began to develop its vision, eventually becoming the world's largest surveillance and security system.

A pollutant that sprouted countless legs, spread across the roads, disrupted traffic, and caused panic began copying out traffic laws every day under Lin Yu's purification, becoming a model citizen who obeyed the law.

A pollutant that took pleasure in devouring animals and humans joined the CDG United Organization under Lin Yu's purification, calling on pollutants to protect animals and reject indiscriminate killing.

Every one of them spoke of Lin Yu with respect and admiration.

"Mr. Lin saved me."

"Mr. Lin helped me find meaning in life."

"Mr. Lin helped me see the error of my ways."

"I'll always be grateful to Mr. Lin."

In the end, they came to regard Lin Yu as a god.

One day, someone knocked on Lin Yu's door. A handsome man stood outside, the tips of his fingers turning into thin silver threads that touched Lin Yu's face.

He said, "Purify me."

"I want to become your most devoted believer."
