After debuting at the liquor syndicate, he discovers that he has become a new character in an ongoing manga. The comment section is buzzing with excitement, saying the author has finally given the villains a powerful new character to balance the forces of good and evil.

Half a year into the job... during a case, he sees Furuya-senpai again.

The unhinged man, full of hatred and unafraid of death, turns back into the sweet, obedient underclassman he was in high school, wagging his tail around his senpai like a little puppy.

Gin notices that Chambuca, the organization's workaholic, has suddenly started slacking off. He's no longer rushing to take on missions, he seems listless, and he doesn't immediately challenge Gin to a sniper duel anymore. His behavior is completely out of character.

A command comes down from Rum, telling him to pay more attention to his colleagues' mental health.

"Tch." Gin irritably snuffs out his cigarette and goes anyway, all grumbling but secretly caring.
