Ultraman Trigger: Come on, Smile~

What if Trigger and Carmeara had both held the Eternal Light, but only Trigger became the light? This is an alternate-timeline story. OOC warning.

A love that lasted three million years finally finds its way to a reunion in the present.

A chance meeting around the corner is both accidental and inevitable.

Who are you? Why is my heart beating so fast?

Who are you, really?

The first meeting

"Have we met somewhere before?" Manaka Kengo asked without thinking as he helped the fallen woman to her feet, gazing at her familiar features.

"No. I've never met you." Nanase Risa quickly turned her head away and pulled her arm free. Her long, slanted bangs hid her faintly flushed cheeks.

So warm. My heart is beating so fast.

But... why do I feel like crying?

The second meeting

"Risa! Wake up! I'm Manaka Kengo, not Trigger!"

"Trigger, Trigger, Trigger! Manaka... Kengo?"

Trigger let out a sigh of relief as he steadied Carmeara by the shoulders. Her anger had finally subsided.

"That's right. I'm Manaka Kengo, and you're Nanase Risa, not Carmeara."

This time, we'll have a different ending.

And so, at every meeting after that...

"Risa, I want to create a world where everyone can smile without a worry! What? Of course that includes you, Risa. Come on, smile! Smile, smile!"

"Risa! I'll make you smile from the bottom of your heart!"

"Risa! Look! Guess what this is~ It's a Carmeara and Trigger plushie! But it looks like they made them a couple. Huh? Risa, your face is red~" "Shut up!"

"Risa~" "Risa~" "Risa~"

And at last...

"Risa."

"?"

"Risa... you're smiling!"

"Hmm? Yes!"

Idiot! Stop grinning like that and kiss me.

Warnings: A bittersweet little story about Carmeara and Trigger. The villain has already been decided: Hudram. The side pairing might be Yuna and Darrgon, but that's not certain.
