A Certain Detective Conan: An Unscientific Biologist

Hayakawa Shizuku was a perfectly healthy... well, nonhuman.

He slept from noon to eight every day, keeping a regular schedule. Every Sunday, he found an inspected, mobile, self-service supply station and took a couple of bites, maintaining proper eating habits. At the end of every month, he went to the laboratory to give a vial of blood, keeping perfect attendance.

Lately, he had just two things to worry about: his usual supply station had been sent away on assignment, so he needed to find a convenient new flavor to bite into; and a newcomer who should have been the usual station's responsibility had been dumped on him, forcing him into unwanted overtime.

Before You Read:

1. Contains a lot of original worldbuilding and out-of-character moments.

2. No System, no secret identities. Characters may be picked up on a whim depending on the plot, but this isn't a rescue story.

3. Written to suit my tastes, with some very unscientific stuff.

4. The characters get tangled up in relationships that may or may not turn romantic, but Gin holds the rightful-wife position. (It's hard to get a happy ending when there's both a real Gin and a fake one!) (Sorry, this has completely turned into Gin-chan's show. I don't know if I can work out the rest of the entanglements. That's just how us Gin fans are... gets hit.jpg)

Theme: Nothing matters more than eating.
