[Forum] Do You Have to Look Cool to Do Magic?

Dual-POV forum format, a short and sweet story, and a little writing practice.

Modern Western fantasy setting: cheerful werewolf student top x magic mentor bottom. I haven't decided on the characters' names yet, so let's just read the forum posts first, okay? (Hey!)

[Serious Question] Do you have to be really handsome to study magic? Can't being hilarious work?

OP: Okay, I just made a complete fool of myself, so I'm posting on the academy forum to vent and get some comfort. Since the only person who saw me make a fool of myself was my newly appointed mentor, who lives in a remote forest and never leaves home, like he's cut off from the world, I figure there's no way he'll ever visit the forum. So no chance of anyone figuring out who I am, heh heh heh.

OP: Here I go.

Theme: Learning through fun.
