[Showbiz] Admiring My Own Beauty

[Blurb]

Pei Minyu seems to have been born with everything.

A wealthy family, stunning looks, and excellent grades.

Even though she didn't continue her studies and became a trainee instead, she'd only trained for two years before she was set to debut.

As soon as she debuted, she became the group's visual, with countless posts about her going viral.

Everything went smoothly. It seemed like she could get anything she wanted with ease.

Her pure, moving, delicate beauty made her a candidate for the new generation's "nation's first love" as soon as she debuted.

But her personality was very different from her delicate appearance.

She was strong and decisive, with ambition and drive beyond what most people could imagine.

She chose a path that her family and friends didn't quite understand.

She would prove to them that she hadn't made the wrong choice.

[Things to know before reading]

1. Most of the early story is about the Korean entertainment industry; the American entertainment industry comes in later.

2. She's the beautiful main dancer and visual of a top group. After the group reaches the top, she enters the Chungmuro film industry, then expands into the West.

3. Her excellent family background is a major help at the start of her career. She's a 2002-born girl whose personality is the complete opposite of her appearance.

Theme: I think of the years spent beyond the mountain range; alone, I shine upon myself, my heart and guts both pure as ice and snow.
