[NCT] Whale (DIVE INTO U)

[Blurb]

Jiang Jingyu was born with the looks South Korean netizens called God-given. She was Kpop Star I's third-place contestant and signed with S.M.

At first, Korean netizens all thought S.M. would turn Jiang Jingyu into the next BoA.

But after releasing two EPs, S.M. started getting her acting gigs instead.

Nobody knew what the company was up to.

Fortunately, the dramas she appeared in were all fairly popular.

Just as fans were lamenting that such a promising SOLO artist was going into acting,

she joined S.M.'s new girl group without missing a beat and debuted all over again.

The public: Aish, S.M. is trying something completely new here.

Jiang Jingyu's fans: Are we just bricks? They use us wherever they need us?

Amidst all the chaos, the new group became hugely popular and just barely managed to cover up a string of recent scandals at the company.

One of the group's "Double Jiang, Double ACE" members,

Jiang Jingyu could hit the high notes and dance, had an outgoing personality and was wild as could be, and was a variety-show queen who could nail any joke. She was also the little sister at the very top of her older brother Hee-chul's list of celebrities he didn't want to run into on a variety show.

On top of that, she went to elementary school in Beijing and spoke in an authentic Beijing accent, then attended middle school in Osaka and picked up a funny, colorful Kansai accent. She was hugely popular in both China and Japan, even if she wasn't quite in a league of her own.

Her fans didn't dare imagine what kind of meltdown they'd have if their mood-maker ever fell in love.

Until many years later...

Her handsome, well-behaved younger boyfriend returned from military service.

Ah, so it's him. Well, I guess that's okay...

[Warnings]

1. There will definitely be OOC moments. Don't get too hung up on the details; everything serves the plot.

2. The heroine was born in 1996 and is a member of RV. RV debuted with five members, and YERI joined in 2015.

(The heroine is a Gemini and four years older than the hero. Don't read if that bothers you.)

3. KS's first season third-place contestant signed with S.M. and has strong vocals. You can compare her to the first-place contestant Park Jimin and second-place contestant Lee Hi at the time. Her voice is a rich, dreamy sound suited to R&B. You can listen to Baek Yerin, who was in a group with Park Jimin, kkkk.

4. Some original actors in popular dramas may be replaced, or new characters may be added. Don't read if that bothers you.

5. The hero is younger. Although he appears early, he won't take center stage until later. There is an ex-brother-in-law figure. (The heroine and her ex-husband were never exposed as a couple.)

Theme: In the eyes of the one you love, there are stars and oceans.
