Zhen Xin finally transmigrated.

She became the darling of the number-one military commander in the galaxy, the galaxy's richest merchant, and the galaxy's top scientist...

Their pet?

Her owner had a pair of clear, deep green eyes and tiny golden ears with soft down still clinging to their tips. She was an adorable little kitten.

Little kitten: "What a rare pet. I've never seen one before."

Zhen Xin: There are eight billion pets as rare as me back on Earth!

Little kitten: "What does she eat?"

Zhen Xin: A big plate of meat, a big glass of liquor, and some soda, please, master!

Little kitten: "She's so cute. I'll call her Zhenzhen."

Zhen Xin: Great name, I love it!

Zhen Xin lived in decadent luxury every day, riding on the fluffy little kitten's head and doing whatever she pleased.

Today, she'd expose the galaxy's top military commander as a total pushover for his wife.

Tomorrow, she'd reveal that the galaxy's richest merchant was a human fanatic.

She'd also force the galaxy's top scientist to quietly develop soda for her, even though she was socially withdrawn!

Zhen Xin threw her weight around, while her owner suffered terribly.

"Zhenzhen is so lively. What should we do?"

Her family comforted her. "Maybe she's lonely because she's going through adolescence. She has no one like herself, and nowhere to put all that energy."

They looked with sympathy at Zhen Xin's retreating back as she ate chips and drank cola, sighing: Poor thing, she'll end up alone forever.

Zhen Xin mused quietly: In this vast universe, beneath the eternal chimes of time, being raised by a bunch of fluffy cats on an unfamiliar planet, with no one else around to tell her what to do...

It felt absolutely...

AMAZING!

*Zhen Xin really wants the cats to raise her into a decadent layabout.

*Since I raise cats every day, the cats should raise me, too.

Pet lovers followed her educational public account every day, liking, commenting, and sharing, and fighting over appointment slots.

They practically burned three sticks of incense to worship her.

But after transmigrating into a book, everyone hated her, and even dogs couldn't stand her.

The birds cursed her angrily: "Wicked woman! Wicked woman!"

Oh, so her animal-speech mind-reading ability came with her when she transmigrated into the book?

So, relying on her ability to understand animals' thoughts and her medical skills, she set up a practice in the countryside, treating patients, befriending cats and dogs, and listening to gossip.

A wealthy young lady who adored cats held her beloved cat and asked anxiously, "Is there any hope for my Wuyun Tuan?"

Zhen Qingluan: "Your cat can be saved, but you were almost beyond saving yourself. Someone tried to poison you by mixing fine arsenic into your restorative medicine. Your cat snatched the medicine and drank it to test it for poison, then weakly gave its life to warn you not to take it."

Young lady: ???

A dog-loving young lord was so worried after his beloved dog went missing that he couldn't eat or sleep. He offered a huge reward for its return.

The runaway dog: "Sigh, I didn't want to run away. I don't think I'll live much longer. I'm breathing out more than I breathe in, so I might as well leave and preserve our good memories. Then my master can think I went off to live a good life and won't grieve after I die."

Zhen Qingluan: "...Don't get sentimental just yet. You swallowed your bone too quickly, and it's stuck in your throat, blocking your airway. We can pull it out and you'll live another five hundred years."

"By the way, I happen to be short on money. I'll take the reward for finding you as payment for your treatment."

Dog: ???

She stayed in the inner quarters, waiting for her husband to be made a marquis and hoping to become a grand lady of the nobility. But then someone even more famous appeared in the capital:

That woman saved the empress dowager's beloved bird, Lady Cui, and revived the emperor's imperial cat, Ninth Thousand Years.

She also drove the horse plague from the military camps, saving tens of thousands of warhorses, then sent thousands of birds to attack the enemy ranks.

A woman who defended her country and protected its people, and was named the Marquis of Mingluan...
