When they first met:

Yun Jin smiled without warmth. "Just call me Black Cloud."

Bai Yuzhi smiled with both her face and her eyes. "What a coincidence, Big Sis. My name is White Earth."

They fought over names, clues, items, bosses, and in the end, even over who got to be the sleeping princess.

Yun Jin endured it again and again, until she couldn't take it anymore. "Are your hands broken? Move them already."

Bai Yuzhi: For the record, my darling is wonderful. What makes her so wonderful? Even when she stabs me, the wound is shaped like a heart.

Instance boss: I can confirm that. The blood almost splashed all over my face. Good thing I ran fast!

This is my take on an unconventional apocalypse setting, with the story unfolding through the instances.

At first, the two female leads genuinely want to kill each other.

Their relationship is mostly about tricking and killing each other, with romance on the side.

The main cast is entirely female.

The side couple is one person with a primary and a secondary personality, also known as self-love.

A few things to know before reading:

- Happy ending.

- Many gods and mythical beasts from mythologies around the world appear. The main focus is Chinese mythology, especially female deities.

- The Chinese pantheon in this story follows the theory that Nüwa created the world. The other pantheons were also created by mother goddesses. Most are heavily revised, personal interpretations, so take note!

- Both girls have questionable values. They save each other and gradually grow together. If that's not your thing, don't read.

- If you can't help cursing someone, curse this useless author who keeps vanishing. Don't curse the two girls.

- Expected to have eight or nine instances. It will be a very long story, but I promise I won't abandon it.

- I couldn't find anything to read, so I wrote this myself. It's a niche story in a cold genre.

The Gu family's young Qianyuan and the Bai family's young Kunze were neighbors and had known each other since childhood.

The next day, Bai family's second son beat Gou Shu for the top spot for the first time.

The first rut:

A Qianyuan's first rut comes without warning. They become nothing but beasts in heat.

There are only two ways to deal with it: tie them up with iron chains, or use a Kunze. The latter is rare.

But Bai Cen was not only willing, she also stayed with Gou Shu through his entire first rut.

On the last day of the rut, the Qianyuan, who had never shed a tear even when beaten so badly he couldn't get out of bed, stumbled out crying and begging for a doctor.

When the doctor came out, he could only shake his head.

"Gou Gou, you need to know that I'm a selfish person."

The Kunze who stays with a Qianyuan during his first rut becomes his lifelong wife. He can never have another Kunze. This is the only chance a Kunze has to mark a Qianyuan.

"But, Xiao Bai, I almost lost you."

Bai Cen was selfish: she would rather be hurt herself than have to watch the person she loved get hurt.
