In her second year of high school, Cen Zhi moves in with one of her father's old army buddies. She has no choice but to live under the same roof as Zou Yu, the rich second-generation playboy who rules the roost at No. 1 High School.

Zou's father kindly reminds his son's schoolmate that they should help each other. The two of them exchange silent looks.

But not long after Zou's father leaves, the water stops running in her bedroom. Standing there covered in suds, she hears the boy outside drop his nice-guy act and sneer carelessly: "Living in my house? You think you're good enough?"

Cen Zhi realizes she's met someone really difficult.

On their high school graduation trip, Tang Mengmeng musters the courage to secretly kiss Bian Yang on the brow.
