Before my family disappeared, they left behind two warnings.
"If you encounter spatial distortion, run!"
"If you detect matrix interference, flee!"
At some point, things started happening...
I hung a skirt in the closet with my own hands.
When I opened it again, it had turned into shorts.
The disinfectant in the bathroom ran out.
The next day, the empty bottle was full again, right where it belonged.
I clearly plugged in my phone to charge.
The battery showed 49 percent.
Then it suddenly jumped to 19 percent.
Jiang Run opened the front door and discovered that the human world had become a wasteland, with one bizarre incident after another.
The black-robed man who knocked her down whispered a warning: Whatever you do, don't lose in the experiment, or you'll be sent to the Backrooms!
-
Note:
1. A challenge-based story with Backrooms elements.
2. For clarity, the "experiments" in this story are basically infinite-flow instances.
3. The male lead is the man in black robes, and his role is "villain." He is a vegetarian. He appears less often in his black-robed form. He has no split selves, but he can transform.
4. The female lead looks sweet, but her skills are anything but. She's a human weapon. Their romance is between evenly matched partners.
*The Backrooms in this story aren't quite like the popular understanding of them. Also, the main characters have to enter the experimental levels first. If they fail, they are thrown into the Backrooms, where the native inhabitants are fed according to the level. For now, there is no way to escape alive.

Coming soon: Dead Things Hide Their True Nature [Escape]
He wants to kill me. More precisely, he's a man wearing a Pinocchio mask and holding a scalpel. The blood trailing behind him streams through the narrow passage, rank, foul, and filthy...
And who am I?
This world has two rules:
1. You cannot lie.
2. You must not tell the truth.
Pinocchio was born in Florence, a wooden puppet who could laugh. His dream was to become a "human," but he needed a mouth that could speak.
-
A note from the author:
1. It's written in third person, so don't be fooled by the blurb.
2. Haisen is a sickly beauty with a strong gothic style.
#Lost in a forbidden place and panicking, Pinocchio never tells the truth#
Theme: Face difficulties bravely and keep moving forward
