Qi Lan lived in an era 8,000 years in the future. Earth was still called Earth, divided by new technology into three classes: A, B, and C. Technology had advanced, but otherwise, the world had not changed much.

He was a low-spec C-class, focused on the study of the unknown and affiliated with the Goe organization.

The Cthulhu Mythos was a field that even Qi Lan and the world wanted to study, but those beings were mysterious and ancient. From beginning to end, they remained beyond sight.

Recently, heavy rains had become frequent, and the scanner showed abnormal wavebands in a restricted area. While investigating, Qi Lan ran low on oxygen. Qi Lan, who had been pretending to be a loyal puppy and acting weak at every turn, could no longer sit still.

He took off his flimsy, delicate maid's dress and cinched a binder tight around his chest. His military uniform showed off his figure even better.

The 190-centimeter-tall, dark-skinned, curly-haired puppy reached out and tugged on the Styx Jellyfish's enormous arm. Their sizes were impossibly different, and their contrasting skin tones met, light against dark.

Qi Lan stood beside Dai Si, a cannon slung over his shoulder, looking imposing.
