After Joining a Dating Show with My Ex-Husband, the Movie Emperor

Xia Zhiyi is the most hated idol in the entertainment industry.

He has a handsome face, powerful vocals, and incredible dance skills: a top-tier idol born to shine.

But he has a terrible personality, is arrogant and conceited, and makes a scene over everything.

On his debut variety show, the higher his vote count went, the more fiercely his haters attacked him.

In his third year after debut, he joins a dating show, partnering with Best Actor He Xingchuan for a romantic journey.

Netizens speculate that Xia Zhiyi has ulterior motives.

"Is he trying to use this to get close to the Best Actor?"

Xia Zhiyi: Damn it.

Who would want to go on a show with their ex-husband?!

Xia Zhiyi thinks he absolutely cannot let people believe that he is the one trying to seduce He Xingchuan.

So he decides to slack off and be difficult on the show.

When they're assigned rooms, Xia Zhiyi says, "I can't share a bed with someone else."

He Xingchuan replies, "I'll sleep on the sofa."

When they do challenges, Xia Zhiyi says, "I don't want any physical contact with someone else."

He Xingchuan replies, "I'll take care of it."

At mealtimes, Xia Zhiyi says, "I don't eat food someone else has touched."

He Xingchuan replies, "I'll make you something fresh."

Xia Zhiyi is very pleased with this.

He is being so difficult and unreasonable, picking on He Xingchuan. Surely nobody could misunderstand.

But to his surprise, the ship between him and He Xingchuan rockets to the top of the rankings overnight.

"Best Actor He is way too doting."

"He grants every wish. Whatever you ask for, I'll agree to it all."

"I hereby declare this a heavenly romance."

"He loves him so much."

"Xia Zhiyi has such a double standard. He'll do anything with other people, but nothing with Best Actor He. What could that be if not love?"

"There's still that variety show where he eats and lives with his bandmates, but he suddenly gets picky only around Best Actor He. That's definitely love."

"I'm dead from the sweetness."

"He loves him so much."

Xia Zhiyi: ???

Later, paparazzi unexpectedly photograph Xia Zhiyi repeatedly entering a villa district east of the city.

Marketing accounts make vague insinuations, hinting that Xia Zhiyi has married a rich man in secret and has been hiding it for three years.

The Xingzhi ship sinks spectacularly, and Xia Zhiyi is buried under a flood of scandals.

Soon afterward, paparazzi photograph He Xingchuan entering the same villa district.

His fans draw their blades and look around in utter confusion.

That night, a post from He Xingchuan appears.

He Xingchuan: Darling, welcome home @Xia Zhiyi

Theme: Never give up. Ahead lies a sea of stars
