Three years ago, when her company asked Luo Jianxing to enter into a marriage agreement with Gu Jiayan, she wasn't exactly willing.
Three years later, when it was time to divorce Gu Jiayan as agreed, Luo Jianxing was still just as reluctant.
But watching Gu Jiayan across from her lower his head to sign the papers without a trace of regret, Luo Jianxing could only bundle up the heart she'd failed to guard over the past three years, along with Gu Jiayan's luggage, and throw them both out.
On the one-week anniversary of her divorce, her agent tossed Luo Jianxing onto a live-streamed dating show.
When she saw her ex-husband appear at the filming location, Luo Jianxing decided she would find someone here and show off to that clueless jerk!

Our Divorce Is Final is an unconventional live-streamed dating show that exclusively invites divorced couples whose ships have sunk.
Fans of the Jia-Jian CP discovered that their beloved couple had barely passed the seventh day after their breakup, yet were already eager to join the show together.
The fans laughed: They still have feelings for each other!
But the more they watched the livestream, the less they could laugh.
Other divorced couples kept things civil in front of the cameras, but the moment their eyes met, their own couple would look away;
Other divorced couples praised each other's good qualities when they were alone, but their own couple complained that everything the other said while drunk was a lie;
Other divorced couples interacted openly, even calling each other by pet names, but their own couple could only refer to the other as a coolly distant "he"...
The fans panicked: You two should just part on good terms. Stop tormenting each other!
As the livestream reached its midpoint and beyond, the fans began to sense something wasn't quite right.
Whenever Luo Jianxing deliberately got close to the other guests, Gu Jiayan would somehow manage to get himself a minor injury.
The moment Luo Jianxing noticed, she'd abandon everyone else and rush over to put a bandage on a wound that would have healed if she'd waited a moment longer.
Then she'd add coldly, "You're a grown man. Can't you even handle something this small?"
Whenever someone approached Gu Jiayan, no matter what Luo Jianxing was doing, she would always find a way to casually drift over and join their conversation.
When everyone sat down to eat, Luo Jianxing was too embarrassed to be picky, but Gu Jiayan had already picked out everything she didn't like from her bowl.
When everyone played games and Gu Jiayan silently kept losing, Luo Jianxing would snatch the controller from him and beat the other guests in his place.
The fans: ...Maybe they could come back from the dead after all? Not sure. I'll keep watching.
Reading guide:
1. This is a fictional setting, very fictional. It's my take on the entertainment industry, and it's still very dramatic. For the level of drama, see my previously completed works. Do not associate it with any real people or events.
2. More to come if I think of anything.
