So What If I Mistook Him for My Husband?

[Zen-faced, face-blind fake young master x vain, greedy drama queen]

After her parents died, Shen Jiao took her marriage contract to find her fiancé, planning to have him support her in her old age.

But halfway there, she fell and hit her head. She lost the contract and could only remember that her fiancé's name had the character Xi in it.

After wandering around, she arrived at the gates of the Xi residence. Shen Jiao racked her brain for what to say when she met her fiancé.

Just then, the gates opened, and a handsome man emerged, dressed in a moon-white robe, with the bearing of a nobleman. Shen Jiao's eyes lit up. Her fiancé was rich and good-looking, so this had to be him!

Without a second thought, Shen Jiao burst into tears and threw herself at him. “Brother Xi, how can you not remember Jiao Jiao?”

The man stiffened and shot her a complicated glance.

Then someone threw out a bundle. “Our real young master is back. You fake, get lost!”

Shen Jiao: Oh my, I started crying too soon.

Although her fiancé was now penniless, Shen Jiao firmly believed that Xi Chen would defy fate and lead them to wealth and success, so they could live like the upper class.

To that end, she reminded him three times a day, “Husband, keep it up! We'll definitely get back everything that belongs to us!”

Xi Chen gave her a lazy glance, rolled over, and went back to sleep.

Eventually, he couldn't take her nagging anymore. Xi Chen charged his way upward, seething with resentment, killing anyone who stood in his way, be they human or Buddha. In the end, he rose to the position of prime minister, and Shen Jiao became the prime minister's wife.

Xi Chen thought he could finally lie flat, but then Shen Jiao recovered her memories and wanted to divorce him.

Xi Chen: Are you going to let me live or not?
