Pre-release announcement for the gender-bending novel, Since We're All Perverts, I'll Stop Pretending. The blurb is at the end.
A madwoman arrived in a post-apocalyptic world of reincarnation.
She was breathtakingly beautiful, laid-back, and born contrary. Unpredictable, yet as alluring as a whirlpool.
She fought the cruel heavens, the hostile environment, the endless waves of monsters, and the humans with ulterior motives.
Some loved her fervently and followed her, but could only pursue her shadow, like moonlight forever suspended in the sky.
Others wanted to capture and conquer her, but could only catch her derisive smile, like those who could never tame the wind of the wilderness.
Still others hated her and wanted to kill her, but... no, there is no "but." Anyone who dared try had long since vanished from the world of reincarnation.
Facing a world with no equal, Nanmen Jue sighed.
"I started dressing as a man to avoid trouble, so why does it seem like I've ended up with even more of it?"
To find her missing older sister, Nanmen Jue willingly entered the apocalypse of reincarnation.
There, she discovered the truth behind the reincarnation space: every NPC was a real person, and every world built from data was a vast universe controlled by the Main God.
The Main God System controlled and manipulated them, siphoning people's fear and despair to strengthen itself.
She gained an ability: everyone she killed would be transferred to a safe void, where there was no Main God and no apocalypse. They could live in peace until they found a new home.
And so the most terrifying madwoman in the reincarnation space was born.
She was ruthless and bloodthirsty, destroying one world of reincarnation after another.
Yet her eyes were compassionate and her smile gentle, making people wish they could die willingly at her hands.
She bore the most terrifying reputation, yet countless worlds and lives were reborn because of her.
"I hear you said I'm Nanmen Jue, and I'm pretty enough to look like a woman?"
Nanmen Jue gave a faint, mocking smile. Her exquisitely beautiful face, brimming with seductive charm, slowly drew closer. A vicious smile shone in her captivating eyes.
"Even if I were a woman, you still wouldn't be leaving this room alive today. Get on your knees."
She charged headlong into the headwind.
"What doesn't kill me will only make me stronger."
A few miscellaneous notes:
1. As usual, the gender-bending is me indulging my own tastes again. It'll be exaggerated, self-indulgent, and unrealistic.
2. This isn't a mystery-solving infinite-world story. It's about an apocalypse of reincarnation, and every instance is post-apocalyptic.
3. She enters the first instance as a woman. Due to certain circumstances, she later pretends to be a man. Her identity will be revealed later, and the first world is mostly from her female perspective.
4. Every setting serves the story. Nanmen Jue is the absolute protagonist, a little madwoman. I love her whether she's dressed as a woman or a man!
P.S. There are lots of apocalypse novels in the collection. Come on in and pick one!
Additional note: Murder is against the law, and people should have moral principles. Fiction is full of idealism and exaggeration. Do not take anything the protagonist does as a guide for real life.
Coming soon: Since We're All Perverts, I'll Be Bothered to Stop Pretending
Chu Cen, an Empire traitor and Federal Marshal, is on trial today.
She is utterly wicked. Though she possesses the rarest S-rank mental power in the entire galaxy, she has committed countless heinous crimes against both the Empire and the Federation.
As the Empire's youngest duke, she assassinated the emperor and launched a rebellion, plunging the Empire into turmoil and earning herself a treason warrant.
She then joined the Federation, only to become extravagant and heartless. When someone once defied her, she ordered the extermination of three neighboring star systems linked to their homeworld. The death toll reached hundreds of billions.
At last, her former student and allies joined forces to bring her before the Interstellar Court, where she was sentenced to the most brutal punishment in the galaxy.
As the people of the universe shouted in fury and old acquaintances looked on with complicated expressions, Chu Cen raised her eyes to the sun. Though she looked frail and aloof, she smiled with ease and wild abandon.
The story of Chu Cen's transmigration is such a mess that sometimes she doesn't even want to think about it.
She was a woman, but a System error tossed her into a trashy interstellar conquest novel with a male protagonist, where she had to play the male villain. Not only did she have to complete her tasks, she also had to keep pretending to be a man. What a miserable fate.
As for that male protagonist, her unlucky student, she couldn't see any potential in him at all.
Chu Cen, who had skipped grades all the way through school, earned a place in a top university at thirteen, completed a combined bachelor's, master's, and doctoral program, and was recruited by the government immediately after graduation, could only scoff in disdain.
Her life in the modern world had been brilliant. Why would she want to play a villain destined to die?
Still, to get home, Chu Cen held her nose and worked like a beast for the System.
She wasn't exactly a good person, but some of the villain's behavior was just too tacky for her taste.
Anyway, she only had to hit a few key plot points, right?
The original System: Beep, you have to kill people. Otherwise, how will the saintly male lead come to hate you?
The later System: ...That's too much, sis. You've gone too far. You're supposed to survive until the trial!
Chu Cen smiled slightly. "Relax. That little monkey doesn't have what it takes to get the better of his master."
Just as Chu Cen was bearing the humiliation, happily completing the plot, and getting ready to go home---
The System went offline.
Forced to remain in this world, Chu Cen had to figure out how to survive the pursuit and ambushes closing in from every direction.
Her former student had taken her place as the Federation's new Marshal.
Her former friend had become the Federation's head of state.
Her former enemy had ascended the throne as Emperor of the Empire.
Her former rival had become a famous wild man (crossed out), a doctor without borders, known throughout the universe.
Her former subordinate had turned into a hardened interstellar pirate after her defeat...
When they heard Chu Cen had escaped, they searched the heavens and the earth. They would dig her out even if she had been reduced to ashes.
Everyone seemed righteous and indignant, yet everyone harbored an unspeakable desire in their heart.
Chu Cen was so arrogant that anyone before her seemed to be nothing more than a speck of dust, a piece of trash.
And yet she was so dazzling that anyone who had seen her could not make room in their heart for anyone else.
She was the cool, bright moon, the cruel winter snow, the one and only dazzling star in the universe.
They wanted to possess the universe's sole star for themselves, even if her light scorched them and left them battered, dim, and ashamed.
So what if she's a man? If I rise to the top, who in the universe would dare criticize me?
Chu Cen: "Since we're all perverts... I don't have to hold back either, do I?"
*The blurb is provisional. It's probably going to be a melodramatic story about taming dogs.
Theme: No matter how the outside world defines you.
My menstrual period and a cold made me a little unbearable. I was in such a bad state after writing for half a day that it all ended. I don't want to make do with it. I'll post it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow at the latest! [Please]
I want to cry to death. I feel so uncomfortable. Why do you treat our ultimate sister control Xiaoyu like this?
It would be great if I could open a harem 1vn
South Gate: I accidentally found two more little tails
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh I feel so good
Ahhhhhhhhh finally! ! ! ! ! !
Nanmen still killed her sister with her own hands, so does she still have the desire to live?
Speaking of Xiao Qin, it reminds me of He Ting. There was no foreshadowing before. Nanmen didn't kill Ex Machina because he wanted her to make a body for He Ting. Now Xiao Qin has also appeared. When can I see He Ting again? I really like this type of boy [Cai Dog]
"No one has ever liked her" part. Didn't you see the emotion in Qin Yehan's eyes clearly at the end of the first world? He even kissed her. Can our Xiao Qin also go to the table and pk with Ying Yao?
