Min Ji-yeon

MinJiYeon

The fifth member of BLACKPINK

"A face with S.M.'s top-tier beauty, rapping with YG's unmistakable flavor."

That was YG CEO Yang Hyun-suk's description when he first spoke in an interview about JiYeon, the powerful new talent YG would be introducing.

Even as a trainee, JiYeon had her own fan site and a huge following.

Whenever people talked about the fourth-generation all-rounder, JiYeon was the first person who came to mind.

"Fourth-Generation Fairy," "Human Siren," "Trending-Topic Generator," "Walking YG Money Tree," "YG's Beloved Darling."

In public, JiYeon was a breathtaking beauty who used her looks to devastating effect, sexy and alluring.

In private, she was the youngest one, always acting cute with her older sisters and cherished by everyone at YG.

Before Kwon Jiyong officially met JiYeon on the set of the "That XX" music video, he had already heard all about the famous "new-generation all-rounder" among the company's trainees.

He had assumed that people calling her "the powerful talent YG snatched from S.M." were just joking. But when he saw sixteen-year-old JiYeon on the music video set, he couldn't help wondering, "Is this really one of our YG kids?!" She was unbelievably beautiful, and her singing and dancing skills were astonishingly good.

The shock he felt when Teddy played him JiYeon's practice video in the company recording studio, with her fluent rap, had stayed with him to this day. After that, Kwon Jiyong would bring up JiYeon from time to time on variety shows.

VIPs didn't mind at all that Long Ge showed JiYeon special affection. JiYeon had grown up under the watchful eyes of Long Ge and the other YG seniors. What was wrong with doting on one of their own? JiYeon was everyone's favorite, and plenty of people adored her.

At the time, VIPs joined Long Ge in cheering on little sister JiYeon. They had no idea that one day their Long Ge would bring that beautiful girl home as his wife!

++

++Born in "Firenze," she was given emerald-green eyes to match the name of the place. Like a rich, full-bodied Italian wine, she dazzled at the first taste, and left a long, lingering impression.

++At nineteen, she captivated everyone on the runway at a top-tier fashion show and became an overnight sensation.

++She was the muse who inspired designers, the supermodel who closed the biggest runway shows, and the "Aphrodite" in everyone's hearts.

++Aphrodite is the Greek goddess of love and beauty, also known as Venus.

++It is said that she was the daughter of Zeus and Dione. Legend describes her as extraordinarily beautiful, with an enchanting charm and alluring grace, the most feminine of all the goddesses.

++Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty, and happiness, and her role is to watch over and protect all that belongs to these realms.

++Her symbols represent love and beauty: doves, roses, and seashells.

++The two met at the Fall/Winter 2015 haute couture show, "Casino Royale."

++She was on the runway, and he was in the audience.

++That night, he not only lost every last chip in his hand, but also lost his heart to her fleeting silhouette.

*The male lead is still Long Ge.*
