The Whole Family Moves to the City, Starting as Night-Soil Collectors [1950s]

[How an Ordinary Person Can Escape the Power of the Blessed One]

Blurb: Su Jing'an transmigrates.

She transmigrates into a Mary Sue story set in the era of the Blessed One.

Of course, she isn't the blessed heroine. She's the cannon-fodder cousin who serves as the heroine's stepping stone.

From the start, she has biased grandparents, a timid mother, a father who works like an ox, a bullied older sister, and herself, stubborn as ever.

According to the plot, the Blessed One's family will soon move to the city.

Her family will be left behind in the village, working themselves to the bone in the fields. But most of their harvest will be sent by the grandparents to the Blessed One's family in the city.

As for her own family, during the three-year natural disaster, every one of them will starve to death in the fields.

Su Jing'an has one thing to say about that ending: No, no, no!

To keep her family from starving to death, Su Jing'an persuades the Blessed One to use her power, and they successfully split the household.

Then she pulls some strings and gets her father a job as a night-soil collector.

Thanks to that job, the whole family quickly moves to the city.

After arriving in the city, before public-private partnerships become widespread, Su Jing'an persuades her mother to go scavenging with her older sister and get into a recycling station. After the public-private partnerships, both of them become permanent employees at the station.

And what about Su Jing'an herself?

Naturally, she studies hard, gets into university before the college entrance exams are abolished, and lands a good job after graduation!

As for the Blessed One, what does she have to do with their family?

Theme: Strive for self-improvement and work hard through adversity.
