In the world of Jian Wang 3, Xie Yunliu and Li Wangsheng ascend to immortality one after the other. When they open their eyes, they find themselves not in the ethereal realm of immortals they had imagined, but in a world of cultivation where martial arts have waned and immortal cultivation reigns.
And in that world, they find themselves in a remote, poor, dilapidated village with nothing but spiritual energy.
They have both become children again, and their master, Lu Dongbin, takes them to their new home.
Reader's guide, ramblings, and a few disclaimers:
1. The author has barely played the game (Unbounded) for two days, but has shipped this couple for half a year. I'm hooked, the food in the granary has run out, so I'm making some myself.
2. This is about Xie and Li ascending to a cultivation world (QiNet3, focused on qi cultivation) and starting from scratch as they cultivate, level up, battle monsters, and explore secret realms. Other Jian Wang 3 NPCs and wandering heroes will pop up from time to time. The OOC and the setting of the world after ascension are mine; anything related to Jian Wang 3 belongs to Xishanju.
3. It seems this story can't be published for a fee because of copyright issues and the like, so here we are again, making a labor of love and opening a mystery box! If there are comments, I'll do my best to update faster (stares into the distance). If not, updates may be slower.
4. Some Jian Wang 3 details unrelated to the couple will be glossed over and may not be quite right. My computer can't run the flagship edition, so I can't look up many details. Besides, xsj changes its own lore too. Gentle reminders are welcome OvO;
