[Arknights] One Street in Lungmen

Longmen, a prosperous city and a dream of hope for countless people.

But Longmen operators rarely visit the island, and some are really hard to approach. So the Rhodes Island operators often ask Lu, a Longmen native studying medicine in the Medical Department, about the city.

"In Longmen, you might see an unremarkable old man doing his morning exercises who actually controls the city's underworld, or an ordinary fish-stall owner who's really a former martial arts master. In Longmen, even if you're just walking down the street, that pretty, well-dressed older sister with a bag in her hand might beat you to a pulp with a couple of lipsticks. That's just how Longmen is. It's prosperous, but there's more to it than that. And me? I'm just an ordinary passerby."

Watching the slender, bookish young man with fluffy hair and a gentle smile casually smash an enemy's head with his cane, the operators fell silent.

Content warnings

#Original worldbuilding, out-of-character moments, various nonprofessional knowledge, and original characters

#First-person narration. The protagonist is one of my OCs. No romance, but his parents really are a great ship

#The protagonist comes from a family of traditional Chinese doctors, but the author is a sweet little elementary schooler. I'm trying to find references, so don't yell at me about bugs. I really am looking for sources

#Writing for too long makes you think too hard. This is a relaxing, funny little skit, so enjoy

#I don't know how the title relates to the content. Probably it doesn't
