A Beauty Like a Crane

Ten years ago, a princess burned to death in the Cold Palace;

ten years later, a young county magistrate arrived in Zhongling County.

Female Lead Blurb:

At the emperor's court, Ji Chouyan, Prince of Xin'an Commandery, got drunk and, carried away by the moment, pinched the pert bottom of the newly appointed top candidate in the imperial examinations. She also "accidentally" broke his arm. By imperial decree, she was banished to a remote little town and made its county magistrate.

She had barely arrived in Zhongling County and had not even gotten used to wearing her official hat when a horrific massacre wiped out an entire household.

Male Lead Blurb:

Xiao Lanbi was hung upside down on a torture rack, head below and feet above. All he could see was a young man, straight as a pine or bamboo, cold as ice and snow, clear as a mirror and graceful as a crane.

He had long heard of this person's spoiled, dissolute, unruly, and outrageous ways, and had always deeply despised them. Yet after seeing him just once today, only one thought remained in his mind.

That newly appointed top candidate was truly asking for it!

So what if a charming rake like that gave him a little squeeze on the butt?
