My Love Story in the Land of Light Is Definitely a Problem

Check out my friend's story, As an Ultra Warrior, I'm Still Fighting for the Main Character's Spotlight Today, by Hong Qing. * Extra chapters start updating next Thursday evening (May 21). * The tragic unrequited love of the Land of Light's crown prince, from the very start. His childhood friend reads aloud the love poem he wrote for her, right there in the Ultra Arena in front of his father and a crowd of trainees. Then she excitedly says she'll write him a “friendship poem” in return! Eventually, everyone knows he likes her, except for the girl herself. His two friends pat him on the shoulder to comfort him. At least, apart from her family, you're the only close guy in her life. Later, after discovering her secret, the Land of Light's crown prince murmurs, “No. Her one true love is ∞.” (So the title is actually from his point of view, isn't it?) * Please note: 1. Don't spam ships that aren't canon. This is a romance story, so don't spam BL ships here (GL is fine). 2. The endgame pairing is the Land of Light's crown prince, but he isn't her first love. 3. The protagonist will grow and become stronger later on. This is a romance, though there is some plot too. 4. If you haven't watched the plot of the Mega Monster Battle arc (chapters 5–15), you can skip it. (I'd recommend skipping it because an interruption in updates led to a rushed ending.) 5. I'm not sure whether I'll write in Kamen Rider Gavv or another series, but I'll include King-Ohger in the Super Sentai series. Whether the Silver and Sparrow pairing will break up depends on how the plot goes, so read at your own risk. * Let me recommend my friend's story, though you may have all read it already. As an Ultra Warrior, I'm Still Fighting for the Main Character's Spotlight Today Author: Hong Qing “This story will be available for purchase starting May 31, with chapters 1–25 going behind the paywall.” (Updates every other day for now, and the author promises to finish it, so feel free to start reading.) “This story covers all three major tokusatsu franchises.” “The current arc is marked in the volume titles.” She opens her eyes and is reborn as a Giant of Light. Clearly, she's destined to be the protagonist. Obviously, becoming the protagonist among protagonists takes an extraordinary story and perseverance. Kaze, who knows she's destined to be a protagonist, has been a study machine since childhood, determined to become the brightest star in the universe. Then she meets a blue-and-red fellow who suddenly bursts onto the scene just as she's beginning to shine, stealing the spotlight with enough handsomeness to make the heavens change color and all things fall silent. Kaze: ? In that moment, she realizes. If you don't want those who come after you to surpass you, then you have to fight for your place. The protagonist's spotlight: you have to seize it! “On the whole business of traveling across the universe as a senior and stealing screen time from the younger generation” - Ultraman Zero knows perfectly well that he's attracted to his childhood friend, and is certain she feels the same way. A mature hero doesn't act recklessly. Love should naturally unfold in its own time. It's only a matter of time before they get together. With such calm confidence, he and his childhood friend set out on their own journeys in this new age of heroes. But then Rumors suddenly spread through the universe. About the legendary female Ultra. They say that she and a certain legendary O-50 harmonica player have an unresolved history and an unfulfilled wish. They say that she and a certain electronic data Ultra fight side by side and share their deepest feelings. They say that she and the Land of Light's crown prince grew up together and have a deep bond. The actual childhood friend, Ultraman Zero: ????? The bespectacled human host: “Zero, are you panicking?” Ultraman Zero: “...You're so annoying! I'm not panicking!” * Please note: 1. The male lead is Ultraman Zero. 2. There may be ship-baiting in the story. If that bothers you, don't read. 3. The Land of Light and the characteristics of the Ultras in this story are heavily based on the author's personal headcanons. Don't take them as canon!!!! Theme: As long as you have the courage and kindness to protect others and cherish your bonds with your companions, you can become the hero of your own story.
