Everyone knows Lucifer was once God's brilliant Morning Star, God's right hand, and the being most beloved by God. No creation in this world has ever been more perfect than he was. And then? Then the tides turned overnight, and God personally struck the brightest Morning Star from His hand, sending him to the deepest, darkest part of Hell. After nine days and nights of the fires of heaven burning him, Lucifer rose once more, becoming the everlasting light of Hell. Men and women, young and old, all smitten with him, lined up from Heaven to Hell, nearly breaking down Hell's gates. But when registration began, the Demon Kings in charge of counting the applicants were dumbfounded. Why did the silver-haired young man at the head of the line, whose whole body shone with holy light so dazzling it nearly blinded them, look so familiar? They turned around and saw His Majesty Satan glaring murderously. Lucifer: What are you doing here? The young man smiled. Since there's no restriction on race, I qualify too. Why shouldn't I be here? Lucifer laughed in fury. Fine. I'll just make sure I don't choose you. Yet when the identity of the queen was finally announced, the Three Realms fell into a deathly silence. Why was the name written there the same as the Creator God's? The gates of Heaven swung wide open. Thousands upon thousands of angels filed out and flew in formation toward Hell. Just as everyone assumed God had been insulted and war between Heaven and Hell was about to break out, someone sharp-eyed spotted something strange. Wait, those don't look like weapons. Aren't those the ceremonial regalia of Heaven's queen? And the silver-haired young man at the front was the Creator God himself! The people of the Three Realms: ... But on second thought, weren't they actually the perfect match? Outsiders didn't know this, but the angels and demons, worn down by the pair's turbulent love story, put aside their differences and embraced each other in tears for the first time. All they wanted was for the two to love each other and never part. Respect them, wish them well, lock them together, and share the key among us all. "Where should I begin? Let me think." After being forced to form a pact with the Son of God, Lucifer goes from hiding murderous intent beneath his initial irritation to gradually developing an interest in the Son of God himself. Like the detached scrutiny beneath his gentleness and compassion, his ruthless decisiveness beneath his magnanimity and tolerance, and his stern impartiality beneath his love and mercy... He was so much like him. Just like that archrival of his. Exactly alike. Lucifer finally confirmed his suspicions on a rainy night. But when he mocked him, the Son of God merely lowered his lashes. In his pale, outstretched palm lay the earring Lucifer had once given as a token to the benefactor who had saved him in defiance of Heaven's rules. In a low voice, he said, "Lucifer, I want to trade it for a promise." "Please, when you look at me, don't think of him anymore." "He has no feelings, but I like you." "The kind of liking that Heaven cannot allow." Shocked, Lucifer forgot to ask where the earring had come from. Blinded by love, he also failed to notice how the Son of God would lower his eyes ever so slightly whenever Lucifer mentioned the chance encounter that had brought them together. The Creator God Yahweh secretly saved Lucifer on a whim, without the world's knowledge. Then he sent the Son of God, Messiah, who was one with him, down to earth, while he himself entered the Realm of Nothingness to sleep. But when he awoke, the mortal incarnation of the Son of God had already secretly pledged himself to Lucifer. The reason their love had begun was that very act of rescue. The Creator God was furious. For the first time, he wanted to kill one of his own aspects. Reading Guide: * Important!! The Son of God and Yahweh are the same deity. The Son of God is a fragment of him, a part of him, so this is fundamentally a one-on-one pairing. Things may get dramatic and melodramatic along the way, but the ending remains happy, with no switching or breaking up the pairing. * Younger, sly, black-hearted Son of God / older, stern, domineering, fatherly Creator God x a sharp-tongued, arrogant, beautiful, wicked-eyed villainous Demon King bottom * The bottom in this story is a thoroughly evil villain who is wicked in every sense of the word. He will not be redeemed, so read with care. * No character's worldview represents the author's. No personal attacks or accusations, please. Love you! * The basic worldbuilding draws on the original, but mixes in many mythological and fantasy systems. Anything might appear if the plot calls for it. * None of the characters, races, or countries in this story are based on real people or places. Please don't relate them to reality, and don't mention the name of that man who descended into the world as the Son of God, Messiah, in real life. Then one day, the Crystal Heaven suddenly closes, and a silver-haired young man named Yahweh appears, claiming to be God's messenger, sent by the Creator God to assist Heaven's deputy ruler. Outsiders don't know that, in private, the handsome, otherworldly young man clasps the deputy ruler's hand with a smile and tells him that the Creator God has chosen him as his lifelong partner. Lucifer, who secretly has a crush on the Creator God: ??? At first, all the creatures of the Three Realms assume this is the god's way of consolidating power, and prepare to lament that they could soon be next. But gradually, they realize something seems off about this Yahweh. Lucifer goes to battle, and Yahweh provides support. Lucifer proposes reforms, and Yahweh enthusiastically backs him. Lucifer goes out in secret, and Yahweh goes with him hand in hand. Someone confesses to Lucifer, and Yahweh... kisses him right there? And Lucifer doesn't seem to mind? Yahweh: All I've ever wanted, from beginning to end, is Your Highness Lucifer. Yahweh awakens from his periodic slumber with his memories still stuck before his falling-out with Lucifer. Just as God is about to make peace with his deputy, he discovers that another version of himself from a parallel world has appeared beside Lucifer. What's more, Lucifer has rejected him for the other man. Lucifer: ...If I have to choose between you and him, I choose him. Reading Guide: * One-on-one pairing. God x Lucifer, Yahweh x Lucifer.
