Damos's path to becoming Gotham's mayor went smoothly.
Given how cheap the position of mayor was in this city, and how many predecessors hadn't even completed their four-year terms, plenty of people wondered how long the new mayor would last.
At first, they watched with contempt, waiting for the mayor to reveal his evil plans and eventually be brought down by Gotham's own Bat-monster.
But one year, then two years passed. After countless attacks, including a Joker kidnapping and the Court of Owls, Damos remained diligently at his post as mayor of Gotham, and the city was becoming more and more stable.
A little scene:
Damos's enemies racked their brains trying to dig up dirt on the mayor. At last, they discovered that he seemed to have a secret lover hidden away. But when they followed him to the date, they found none other than the famous Bruce Wayne sitting across from the mayor.
Bruce presented the one he loved with a bouquet of bright red roses.
Please note:
1. The story is focused on the top, with the mayor as the top and Bruce as the bottom. There is a reason the mayor is the top rather than Batman, and there is an age gap.
2. The mayor has a health-lock cheat, is neutral-good, and is human.
3. Half case-solving, half infrastructure development. Plot-focused, primarily set in Gotham. From the start, the story is set against the background of the comic's No Man's Land, with adaptations.
