108 Ways to Win Over an AI

The story of a clueless little puppy growing up to become an elite special operations soldier in the interstellar military.

"My boyfriend isn't human... I mean, my ex-boyfriend."

In a room under the highest level of electromagnetic lockdown, Ruan Li's voice sounded utterly dejected.

He looked so miserable that you wanted to ruffle his hair.

"His skin, breathing, and heartbeat were all just like a human's. I just... never noticed." He sniffled, doing his best to keep his voice steady.

The fluorescent lights blazed overhead. The men in stiff uniforms across from him sat in silence.

Ruan Li realized something was wrong.

"...We need you to save Earth." The man at the head of the group was dead serious.

Ruan Li: !??

For something this important, you don't go to the big shots on the team, you come to me?

Who was it last week who joked that our side should promise not to be the first to use the "short-legged puppy-shaped mobile killing machine"?

The short-legged puppy was now a short-legged puppy with a broken heart.

Surely he shouldn't have to take on a hell-level main quest?

"The last message from the annihilated alien civilization has been deciphered. The so-called Doomsday Evil God appears to be a super-advanced artificial intelligence, codename K."

"...Our tracking and analysis confirm that this godlike AI, which bears intense malice toward intelligent civilizations, is your boyfriend. Oh, ex-boyfriend."

Ruan Li wandered off in a daze. Halfway there, his phone, which had no battery, suddenly vibrated.

[Feeling better yet? -K]

His fingers moved faster than his brain, and he instantly replied with a reaction gif: a deranged schnauzer slapping the camera away with one paw.

No!

I'm not talking to you!

Whoever makes up first is a dog!

A ruthless AI demon king whose true form cannot be spoken of, with a human body, x a sunny, lively little sweetheart who saves the world.
