The Strongest Player, Starting Reborn

(Daily updates will resume once the little one at home starts kindergarten.)

On the first day after the talented Xia Lan, who had held the top spot in Myth for years, announced her retirement at the height of her career, countless people lamented her departure.

For decades afterward, her life didn't go as she'd hoped.

Until an accident sent Xia Lan back eighteen years.

At the time, Myth had just launched. Its ads were everywhere, kicking off a nationwide leveling craze.

Legend says Pangu created the world, Nuwa fashioned humanity, Shennong tasted every herb, and the Flame Emperor invented fire.

The world is divided into three realms: humans, demons, and immortals. Each of the eight sects has its own strengths.

Among them, Shennong Forest is famously good-for-nothing.

For years, it has sat at the very bottom of the sects' pecking order.

But now Xia Lan enters a dungeon with a new Shennong Forest character and soloes the level 10 hidden boss, Adair.

Twenty minutes later, two orange announcements appear in quick succession across the world:

[Congratulations to player Blue Mist for defeating the beginner village's hidden boss, Adair, and earning a hidden orange title!]

[Congratulations to player Blue Mist for completing the beginner dungeon first and earning a gold-tier skill book!]

[Congratulations to player Blue Mist for being the first to break through level 10 and earning the rare title "Rookie"!]

[The title system has been unlocked ahead of schedule!]

From then on, the name Blue Mist begins appearing again and again in the gold announcements broadcast to the whole server.

On Evernight, Myth's largest player forum, a legend named Blue Mist has long held the front page.

Rumor has it that during a boss fight, she led a group of unaffiliated players against the elite members of the major guilds. When the boss went berserk at low health, she turned the tide at the crucial moment and landed the first kill on the entire server.

The four-person golden team she formed topped every leaderboard, cleared the Heaven-tier dungeon Map of the Four Seas and Eight Wilds in record time, and defeated the final boss guarding the city in a siege battle.

She's the first casual player on the server to reach max level, as well as an all-around commander courted by every professional team.

Later, on the competitive stage, she even crushed the seeded teams, showing off her brilliance and sweeping all before her!

With the weakest support, she tanks the strongest monsters, deals the highest damage, clears the hardest dungeons, and wins the first world championship for the Flower Kingdom!

Everyone hails her as the server's ultimate badass!

She is Myth itself.

(The eight sects are the Xing Tian Sect, Thousand Mechanisms City, Kuafu Slope, Qiankun Pool, Nuwa Temple, Flame Emperor's Tomb, Buzhou Mountain, and Shennong Forest. The heroine belongs to Shennong Forest, a poison-focused sect that deals devastating damage.)

1. Keyboard-and-mouse online gaming + esports. Some mechanics are based on real life, but the esports details are largely invented, so please don't compare them to reality.

2. The author isn't a professional game designer, so please don't nitpick the stats.

3. I picked this genre because I was starving for stories. I'm writing what I want to read, so feel free to politely leave if it's not for you.
