The Beloved Imperial Grandson of the Qing Dynasty Is a Pixiu

Writer's block has me dying. Updates will resume after the New Year.

Here are the blurbs for my upcoming works, "The Gourmet Prince's Qing Dynasty Livestreaming Life" and "The Little Conch's Daily Life in the Qing Dynasty."

A little Pixiu transmigrates and becomes Hong Jing, the legitimate grandson of the emperor. His father is the Crown Prince, and his grandpa is the emperor, but he isn't happy at all.

Not only is it because his father is about to face the miserable fate of being deposed and reinstated twice, but also because he's bound to a System called Wealth Distribution.

People say Pixiu attract wealth. Who ever heard of making one give it away? Isn't that just bullying the poor Pixiu?

But as he gives away more and more, the little Pixiu is astonished to discover that he's become the darling of the entire Qing imperial family!

Not only that, but his father, who was originally supposed to be deposed, somehow becomes emperor. And he, a little prince who never existed in history, somehow becomes Crown Prince.

The little Pixiu can't understand why this is happening.

A few random thoughts: The System and the little Pixiu complement each other, and giving away wealth benefits the little Pixiu too.

There are some details invented to serve the plot. This is not meant to be historically accurate, and there are no supernatural elements.

There is a romance, but only after the characters reach adulthood.

Worried the little Taotie might meet the tragic fate described in the history books, the aunties worry themselves sick.

They send him everything from "Seed Planting and Cultivation" to "Postpartum Care for Sows" to "How Cement Is Made." In the end, they turn the little Taotie into the darling of the Qing imperial family.

Well, he can be the darling. With so many powerful people backing him, surely one of them will come through for him.

Just as the little conch is about to fall into a fish's belly and get eaten, a flash of golden light suddenly turns him into the fourth prince, Yinzhen.

He's heard that Yinzhen was a workaholic who eventually died of exhaustion, but no problem. The little conch will take care of it.

While everyone else studies, the little conch slacks off.

While everyone else paints, the little conch has fun.

Others beam with pride for days after receiving a compliment from Kangxi.

The little conch, however, pokes Yinreng on the shoulder. "Second Brother, do you know what frogs eat so they won't croak?"

Yinreng shakes his head, puzzled. "I don't know."

The little conch says smugly, "Pumpkin."

Yinreng frowns, even more confused. "Why?"

The little conch says mysteriously, "Because it makes them hard to croak."

Yinreng: ...

The little conch is smug for less than three seconds before he suddenly shivers. He quickly turns around and looks warily in every direction. Why does he feel like a pair of eyes has been watching him from the shadows?

At that moment, Yinzhen, who has unexpectedly been reborn into the body of the tenth prince, hears that a stranger is ruining the image he worked so hard to build. His little face turns red with anger.

If I've done something wrong, punish me with actual harm. Don't make me watch helplessly as my image is destroyed!
