A Qing-Dynasty Adventure: I Become Kangxi's Younger Brother

Coming soon: The Yongzheng Emperor's Daughter. Synopsis below, please add it to your reading list!

Our motto is: Be a wastrel, be a wastrel, be a wastrel!

What happens when Ye Lin, a 996 office worker who dies after working overtime all night, transmigrates as Fu Jing, Kangxi's full-blooded younger brother?

The person in question says: With a thigh this big to cling to, it'd be a shame not to.

So while Kangxi takes down Oboi,

Fu Jing is busy researching how to slack off.

While Kangxi puts down the Three Feudatories,

Fu Jing is busy becoming the biggest wastrel in the capital.

When Kangxi sets off on his southern inspection tour,

Fu Jing is busy... Wait, a southern inspection tour?!

Brother, wait! Take me with you!

Later, Fu Jing stares at the bicycle, tricycle, and steam-powered car before him, lost in thought. Is this really the Qing dynasty? Or are there transmigrators besides him?

A few notes: 1. This is a parallel Qing dynasty, with lots of original details, so don't expect historical accuracy. Some events may not line up with real historical dates, and those will be noted.

2. The protagonist is the only transmigrator.

3. There is a couple, but they won't appear until the characters are grown up.

4. A doted-on-by-everyone story with a bit of infrastructure building.

5. Sources for the information in the story include Baidu Baike.

The Yongzheng Emperor's Daughter

After transmigrating, she becomes the fourth young lady of Prince Yong's manor.

Her father is the future emperor, her mother is the future favorite consort, and her uncle is a great general who dotes on his little sister.

Baozhu says: At long last, this incredible fortune has come my way.

But before she can celebrate, the System informs her that she has less than five years to live.

Fortunately, the System has a life-saving feature. Complete the required tasks and she can exchange rewards for more life points.

At first, the System's tasks are fairly normal.

Later, Baozhu stares at the words "Please your father to gain one year of life" on the screen, lost in thought.
