I'm afraid of blood, darkness, and corpses.
As a necromancer who manipulates bones and toys with death, those three weaknesses were bound to make my teammates despise me during this massive dungeon conquest. I'd never earn so much as a single penny.
But thankfully, that's all in the past. I've been trapped in this Western fantasy game that sells itself on romance for fifty-two loops now. On my fifty-first loop, I handed off the burden of being the heroine, along with the game's System, to the villainess, who had awakened to her own consciousness.
If this were the real world, the game would probably have turned into one of those popular stories from recent years, Reborn as the Villainess, Now Everyone Dotes on Me. Unfortunately, the villainess's intelligence doesn't increase with each new life, so the previous loop ended in the middle levels of the dungeon. She never even got near the Boss conquest route.
It's not as if I ever managed to make it to the middle levels alive myself.
I secretly admired the villainess's determination to complete the whole bestiary.
The second time I collected a dismissal fee from one of the original targets of the heroine's conquest, I watched the party leave, only to be unexpectedly approached.
The people standing in front of me were the villainess's former party, all humans. They looked the part for an otome game, but were nowhere near as extravagant as the main cast, with their various hair colors and rare-species exhibition vibe.
Their knight captain was fretting over where to find another person, since the rules required five people per dungeon party. When he saw me, his eyes lit up.
"You don't have to do anything!" The villainess hadn't worked in their group either. "Just stick with us!"
A chance to slack off and still get paid? Of course I earnestly took his hands, joining the group to form a genuinely hapless party.
