When My Online Love Became My Roommate

[Updated daily] Please add my upcoming book to your reading list. The blurb is at the bottom. Blurb Tan Xu has an online boyfriend. He spent the summer flirting with him in a game until he finally won him over. They'd only just made their relationship official when university started. When the dorm rooms were assigned, Tan Xu turned out to be a "lucky one," sharing a four-person room with just one other student from the sports department. On the first day of school, his new roommate was handsome and aloof. He coolly listed his rules: Keep quiet after eleven, don't undress in the dorm, don't smoke in the room, don't bring people back to spend the night, and so on. Tan Xu didn't smoke, wasn't an exhibitionist, and wasn't used to sharing a bed with anyone, but listening to his roommate rattle off more than thirty rules still gave him a headache. His roommate also seemed to have a cleanliness obsession. Whenever Tan Xu accidentally touched him, he'd pull away at once, keeping his distance as if they were strangers. So Tan Xu gave up on the idea of them becoming one big happy dorm family. In the dorm, he barely said a word. As soon as he stepped out, he put on his earphones and softened his voice to talk to his boyfriend. He played games without using his mic in the dorm, but outside, he let loose, calling his boyfriend "hubby" and praising his incredible gameplay. He never walked out of the bathroom with his shirt off, but would secretly send his boyfriend photos of his abs from inside. Then, on the weekend after military training ended, everyone decided to have a party. Tan Xu got drunk after just one drink. When the party ended, Qin Chu, his roommate, was responsible for taking him back. Tan Xu only remembered getting drunk and demanding to call his boyfriend, and hearing Qin Chu reply in a cold, hard voice: "Call him." Then he remembered nothing. But after that, Qin Chu started acting strangely. Qin Chu would come out of the bathroom with his shirt off. Qin Chu would buy him breakfast, remember his class schedule, and wake him up in the morning. Qin Chu remembered all his favorite foods and habits. He even helped him log his steps for his morning exercise check-in. Was this guy falling for him? Tan Xu held up some flowers he'd received and made a point of saying, "My boyfriend bought these for me. I love them." Qin Chu seemed to smile. "Mm, I know." Qin Chu: a quiet, obsessively tidy, tall and handsome sports student, strong as an ox, top. His name is pronounced Chu.
