Four years ago, an unnamed firework altered the fates of an eager would-be leader and a girl hovering on the brink of death. Two different, completely incompatible worlds merged, disrupting the timeline of the once peaceful and ordinary world and isolating it at the very edge of the larger world.
Four years later, an unknown director brought out the script again. The actors were in place, and the show was about to begin.
Fu Jin, from the Flower Country Special Operations Bureau, came to Neon under the alias Edogawa, searching with hazy memories for the white-haired person with blue eyes he remembered. But was his luck just that bad...? Why did he keep getting dragged into cases? Then he realized, why were all the people around him detectives?
Three Edogawas were assembled, and he was the only one who wasn't a detective. A certain squinty-eyed great detective thought he wasn't cooperating and tried to reveal his true identity to a certain big-eyed little detective. Unfortunately, he knew someone blinded by greed wouldn't see through it!
The world is so big, yet there are too few people with clear heads. Even a great detective is powerless. Might as well eat some cheap sweets. And that white-haired, blue-eyed guy is the strongest.
"Does he actually have a crush on me? I mean, I am pretty handsome~"
The great detective who saw through the truth stayed silent. And only at the end did the strongest one realize that he was the one being used as a romantic substitute?
Content warnings:
1. There is a CP: the cunning, highly intelligent, mischievous black dragon Fu Jin x the tsundere, kind-hearted, foolish, mischievous nine-tailed cat Wen Yue.
2. A crossover with Bungo Stray Dogs, Detective Conan, and Jujutsu Kaisen, with a reasonable basis for the crossover. Main plotlines are involved.
3. Characters who die in the original works will appear. Their deaths may be avoided depending on how the story goes.
4. The protagonist has no romantic relationships with the original characters. Everyone is friends.
5. Dazai Osamu has a CP, an original male-female pairing. It will be kept mostly in the background, with Dazai's romance concentrated in a later separate section. It won't take up much of the main story, and parts related to the main plot won't be cut.
6. ShinRan is broken up, but Shinichi and Ran remain friends. Ran finds someone new, and since she has someone new, Shinichi gets someone new too.
Ran's new love interest is a track coach, a former Olympic champion, of mixed Chinese and Russian descent, and a person from the underworld.
Shinichi's romantic storyline is omitted or kept very brief, since it takes place before the story begins. I probably won't write much of it, and I'll introduce it later. I haven't figured out how to explain it yet.
7. Ran will get her moments in the spotlight and some great scenes. The good guys are treated favorably, except for Akai, whose role is reduced to almost nothing because I'm not very good at writing him.
Theme: True love will never be forgotten
Demolish Xinlan and highlight it! Xin Xiaolan and Xin Xiaolan have separate partners. Xinlan's friendship is not ambiguous, and her partners have already confessed their feelings at the beginning of the plot.
That's not right! Shouldn't Conan be called uncle? [Although normally calling me grandpa is enough 🐶]
Is there a Thunder Vice CP, it's Dazai Osamu's love scene. If there is... Then I will try not to involve it in my essay submission. If no one responds, I will pretend that I don't mind.
What a mysterious heroine, I'm looking forward to it!
